Super nice service, very attentive.The only thing that wasn't so good was the Diet Coke, it just lacked carbonation! The food was super awesome, big praise to the kitchen and thanks to the blonde, very nice waitress!!!

Very happy to find this restaurant.Very good value for money and excellent welcome. The wonderful welcome!Their pepper soup is magical! And we really liked the spinach rösti as well as the goulash.The interactive map to choose the dish in your language is very good.The games for the children were appreciated.I recommend!

Only had an emergency room.Was clean, friendly furnished.In this old traditional house you can safely stay overnight and, above all, eat good and rustic food.The locals are regulars here

First you forgot to mention your company holiday, then when you reopened you “didn’t get your beer garden ready yet”.We were there at 5:30 p.m. and the kitchen didn't open until 6 p.m. We finally got our food at 6:50 p.m.You couldn't tell how long it took to eat. Even though we had ordered schnitzel, we couldn't hear any knocks coming from the kitchen. Here too you are fobbed off with products that were not produced locally.The staff prefers to talk loudly on the phone in private and an employee stands in front of the door to smoke while we're eating. Everyone moved to our table.Very unprofessional.The dining room also looks more like a pub.Guests at the counter are served quickly.It could also be cleaned again.We will not recommend this store to anyone.

After many years I spent 4 nights in my hometown Alsfeld in the Mainzer Tor. The price-performance ratio is excellent. I loved the friendly owners and helpful staff. The restaurant is highly recommended. Good, honest cuisine at fair prices. The local specialties are particularly recommended.If you are looking for clean and familiar accommodation, Mainzer Tor is the right place for you.

The rooms cost 66.50.. very good value for money.. clean and everything you need for 1 or 2 nights is there. 1. Small bottle of water was ready in the room...a Senseo with pads in the hallway...a shared bathroom. And there was a toilet in the hallway.. also very clean.. since the restaurant is open late in the evenings, no breakfast is offered.. but it is available diagonally across the street in the café.. the location is perfect. The historic old town begins right after the Mainz Gate... I was able to sleep well on the bed. Mattress with memory foam..

Very nice and well located restaurant.I reserved a single room for 1 night.Room was clean and well equipped, there was a sink in the room for cleaning, the toilet and showers were in the hallway next door.The only negative thing was that the two single rooms are located directly on the main street and it was very loud in the morning (6am), so the double room is better because it is opposite and the windows are on the sides of the courtyard.Very satisfied :) gladly again.
