Pension with charm, close to the Lahn, spa park and restaurants, nice and quiet. Very small bathrooms, a corpulent person will have difficulties. The house is on a hillside, when I asked before booking whether the paths were at ground level, I wasn't told that this wasn't the case, only that there were a few steps in front of the house. My mother is 85, if someone had answered me honestly I wouldn't have booked. People with walking difficulties could have difficulties, about fifteen steps to the front door, sometimes without a handrail. Hardly any service available, breakfast was very disappointing. Baked rolls, a slice of bread for two people, which we had to share, jam and honey ready-made packaging, four mini pieces of butter for two people, cheese and sausage from the discounter, no milk for muesli, an opened bottle of orange juice was there for two days. You could probably pre-order drinks for during the day or evening, but why they weren't available there for a fee is a mystery to me, the four stars awarded in 2006 are no longer appropriate today. I had the feeling I had to beg for my breakfast, so asking repeatedly if everything was okay didn't help. My personal feeling is that you don't feel like looking after your guests. Personally, I wouldn't book there again, for me it was far too expensive because of the breakfast.

I think it's very good here. The rooms are in the old style but that's exactly what I think is great. In my opinion you have everything you need and the breakfast is also very tasty. The food was delicious and the hosts were very, very nice. I would come here again and I recommend this guesthouse

We find an old bedroom with a dwarf bathroom and a cheap breakfast to be a rip-off, and the friendliness of the landlord doesn't help either! …
