Very friendly welcome from the owner, and the gentleman at breakfast was also very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was a good selection and also fresh and tasty. Wonderfully quiet location without traffic noise. Yes, it's not the most modern, but it's very comfortable and clean, which I personally prefer anyway. In addition, the room and bathroom are really spacious. Gladly again

Very friendly reception. You feel welcome. Note that there are no more restaurants in advance by email and you will receive a list of restaurants within a 10 km radius where you can eat well. Breakfast is very good and very good value for money.

I had the pleasure of spending the weekend in this beautiful, rustic and very well-kept hotel from July 5th, 2024 to July 7th, 2024.When we arrived we received a very friendly welcome and we immediately had the feeling that we were in good hands.At the beginning there was a small problem with the key card, the programming was defective, but this was fixed immediately. And to be on the safe side, the nice lady at reception came along to rule out that the error still existed.The rooms are very clean, I had a balcony with a view of the courtyard.The entire hotel complex makes a well-kept impression and you are always discovering new things.The bathroom was equally clean and the shower was large enough to accommodate two people.Unfortunately the restaurant was temporarily closed, but since we were informed of this information early enough, we could reschedule.Just in advance, I hope that the restaurant will be available again next time you visit. :-)We had booked breakfast.A great buffet with muesli, fresh fruits, a selection of cheeses and sausages, as well as various sweet toppings. There was also a warm buffet with various egg dishes (e.g. scrambled eggs, pancakes, etc.) and Nurembergers.Fresh rolls and croissants.You could always ask for coffee or you would be asked and it would be given to you on the spot. Here too, a courteous and nice service staff.Other drinks such as tea or cocoa could also be ordered.Juices were available for self-service.Even when we left, we felt very comfortable and well looked after.I can only recommend this hotel and we will come again.Then we want to get to know the complete repertoire.😊Until then, thank you for the lovely weekend.Greetings from North Hesse/Kassel

I am from North Hesse and was a guest here for 2 nights. Super nice service staff, boss very nice. Great breakfast buffet with fresh fruit, warm dishes such as scrambled eggs and delicious fresh rolls and much more. Rooms are very clean, not in a modern style, but quiet, rustic and very comfortable. Price performance is top. We plan to come back.

Wonderful location, great facility, gigantic breakfast buffet, highly recommended restaurant, pleasant room. Wonderful design and decoration throughout the house, very friendly owner. Free storage for our motorcycles in the barn. Highly recommended!

Very hospitable hospitality, the accommodation is outside of Landsberg but very quiet. Breakfast is provided very courteously and with commitment. We also asked in a friendly manner whether there was another wish, which made us very happy because something like that should no longer be taken for granted. The accommodation in the very large area was basically okay, but the ceiling height was a problem for us as it was too low for us, so only three stars for the room.

Very quaint and owner-managed hotel, typically Bavarian. It's a shame that at 8 a.m. the breakfast buffet was almost empty and there wasn't even one roll left.That completely ruined the good impression.

It's a shame that this restaurant has closed.We went there often for events and for dinner.I think a lot of people don't know how much work goes into a restaurant like this.I wish this family a relaxing time.Thanks for everything, there aren't many restaurants that have always amazed me.

Flyed high, fell low.The lower mill was once considered *the* restaurant in the region. My wife had a test with the mill's trainees at the time and had a lot of respect for their performance.A few years ago we were there on the romantic night. The food was really good, the young cellar was outstanding. It was the best service I've ever had.We went there for dinner in the spring. I had the roast. The sauce was very good and homemade (unfortunately it has become very rare), but the meat was unfortunately very tough. You could already tell that the kitchen was being dismantled.Overall, I hope the restaurant reopens. You can argue about the interior, but that shouldn't be the issue. It would be nice if the old glory was revived.But a word of caution: when you respond to reviews, the outrageous tone that has been adopted over the last few months is intolerable. You can't give your guests a bigger slap in the face. I understand that a lot of frustration has built up, but you don't take it out on those around you. Although I can understand the grant based on some of the reviews.With this in mind: Have a good new year and stay healthy.

Today we were at the Untere Mühle for the last time - for a farewell dinner, so to speak. As always, the food was sensational and the service was great. All in all, a straight A with an asterisk. Both thumbs up. We have been coming for over 45 years and have NEVER had anything to complain about. I don't know what's wrong with some people who leave such derogatory and nasty comments here. Are these frustrated people who feel good about hitting others to feel better afterwards? In my opinion that doesn't work at all!!!A huge compliment and our heartfelt thanks to the Biechele family for allowing us to spend so many wonderful hours in the mill with excellent food. See you❤️
