Definitely 5 out of 5 stars.The entire Palzer family are very warm and courteous people. The accommodation is very well maintained, clean and offers everything you need on holiday.We had the double room with a balcony and shared kitchen.Contrary to my expectations, there were no problems at all with sharing the kitchen.Thank you for the great time, we will definitely be back.

We spent two eventful weeks in the beautiful holiday apartment. The house is ideally located for all hiking tours and the bus stops are right next to the house. Many thanks to the Palzer family.

We were super happy and satisfied with our accommodation in the double room with the really warm and hospitable Palzer family. The double room in country house style has charm and the facilities were completely sufficient for us. In the communal kitchen, which is only shared with the single room, there was enough space to prepare breakfast or dinner, which you could then enjoy on the room's own balcony with a view of the mountains. We received great additional excursion tips from the hosts and we were even able to store and charge our rented e-bikes without any problems. Everything was great, we would come back at any time.Ramsau is also a good starting point for numerous activities in the area, such as Wimbachklamm, Mordaualm, Schönau am Königssee, Berchtesgaden, Kehlsteinhaus etc.

Great value for money! The Palzers are absolutely nice, warm and helpful innkeepers, you immediately feel “at home”. The double room (in our case) was spacious, the bed was great (even for tall people thanks to the lack of a skirting board!), everything was clean and hygienic, and the balcony with a view of (part of) the Watzmann and Kehlstein made our mornings every time Evening sweetened!We would definitely recommend Haus Achenwinkel!!

This is my third time here and for me there is no better place to stay! The single room is equipped with a small table and chair, a large wardrobe, and the bathroom is super clean and modern. The family is just warm. Together with guests from the double room you can use the small kitchen (stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, kettle, coffee machine, dishes available), which was the decisive argument for me at the time to book here, for example. B. prepare my own breakfast. Enjoy this on the balcony and listen to the sound of the Ramsauer Ache (if the windows are closed you can't hear anything from outside). For the price, this accommodation is simply unbeatable. In just a few minutes' walk you can reach the Wimbach Bridge, from where numerous hikes can be undertaken. The Unterwirt bus stop is 2 minutes away from the guest house.

Very nice hosts, family friendly, clean, beautiful, well-equipped apartment with a great balcony with a view of goats! Spacious kitchen/living room, bedroom and a new, beautiful bathroom! We felt comfortable from the first moment and would love to come back!

Great price-performance ratio. The range of rooms on offer has something for every need. A kitchen including a refrigerator is also available as well as fast and free WiFi in all rooms. The quiet location offers an optimal starting point for all activities in Berchtesgadener Land, whether the weather is good or bad. Relaxed walk to Hintersee with localities with a view of the lake. The Wimbach Bridge, the starting point for all hikes, is less than 5 minutes away on foot. Climbing opportunities near the Blaueishütte (Hochkalter region) can also be reached on foot. Shops and ATMs can also be reached on foot. I spent 3 weeks with the Palzer family in July/August and would come back at any time. I was supported in planning my tours by the family themselves, mountain athletes as well as voluntary members of the mountain rescue service. Thank you!
