Clean, very spacious, friendly hosts, in a story-book town with lots of great restaurants and gorgeous scenery. We only wished we had more time to spend here.

The inn has everything you need. It is very centrally located and important shops (near & good, bakery, savings bank, pizzeria, restaurant) are only a few minutes' walk away. There is also a bus stop right next to the inn where you can take the bus (free with the guest card) (for example to Hintersee). There is also a small walkway near the property (similar to a hiking trail), where you can easily go for a walk.The rooms are optimally furnished and have everything you need (e.g. coffee machine, kettle, toaster, hot air fryer, stove, multifunctional oven, sofa bed, sunshade). From the balcony we had a great view of the Hochkalter (mountain). In general, the inn has a lot to offer: a large pool with sun loungers with a free-standing shower, two different saunas, play equipment for children, a trampoline and much more.The host family is very friendly and helpful. They could be reached at any time, even if they were not on site.Overall it was a very nice holiday and I would definitely recommend this accommodation.

We were guests in the comfortably furnished Waldrast guesthouse for 10 days. A large bedroom and a large living room invite you to be cozy. The elongated balcony, which offers a wonderful view of the mountains, can be reached from both rooms. There is a pool at the house that we were able to use every day; a treat after hikes.Many great excursion destinations can be reached from Ramsau and if you want to leave your car behind, you can take the bus directly on the street - free with a guest card - to get to various excursion destinations.The host family is very friendly and helpful, everything is very familiar.The location and also the inn are highly recommended for anyone who wants to vacation in the beautiful landscape of Berchtesgaden.Bakers, small supermarkets and restaurants are within walking distance.Activity, peace and a family environment, something for everyone.The vacation with husband and daughter was very nice.

We were guests at Haus Waldrast for the first time a week today with 3 adults and a child. We felt very comfortable in the large holiday apartment Edelweiss with a terrace. Lots of space, tasteful furnishings. Very friendly landlord, good service, we didn't miss anything. We could use the sauna at any time, even in summer. 😊

We were guests at Haus Waldrast for the first time, my husband and I and our little dog. We felt very comfortable in the large holiday apartment Edelweiss with a terrace. Lots of space, tasteful furnishings. Very friendly landlord, good service, we didn't miss anything. The mattresses were a bit too firm for me, but they are reversible, I found out too late 😄 The outside lighting could be optimized a bit by the timing of the motion detector, but otherwise we had nothing to complain about. Gladly again.

We had a wonderful week in FeWo Edelweiss with two children and a dog. The apartment is very spacious, perfectly equipped and very nicely decorated. The house is beautiful and quiet right on the edge of the forest; at the same time centrally located in Ramsau. There's really no need to write anything more about the environment and nature in and around Ramsau ;-) Thanks to the Maier family, whose very warm and totally uncomplicated manner also helped us feel very comfortable. We'd love to come back.

Out of 5 stars we give 6 ❗️This is our second time at the Waldrast guesthouse and we are again completely satisfied. The great location, the beautifully designed apartment (we have always had Almrausch) and of course the loving hospitality of our hosts are a guarantee that we will continue to book here.The offerings in and around the house (sauna/swimming pool/games/bike rental, etc.) are simply great. If you have any questions or requests, the hosts are always immediately helpful. What more could you want on vacation 😁......❓❗️Addendum: Our 🐕🦺 Bruno also found it very relaxing and there was a lot to explore 😁.

It was our first time at the Waldrast guesthouse and we had the Edelweiss and Bergblick apartments, but it certainly won't be our last stay there. The apartments are very well equipped, spacious and centrally but still quietly located. It is a paradise for children and dogs. The entire host family is very friendly and accommodating. Thank you for the lovely, sunny holiday week.

Beautifully located guest house, we stayed with our dog in the ground floor apartment Almrausch.Nice spacious apartment, very clean, everything was there, beautiful view.It is quietly located and yet everything is close by: bakery, shop, restaurant, public transport.You can start various walking routes there.The hostess and host are very friendly, we immediately felt at home, including our four-legged friend.It is highly recommended!

For us first-timers in the mountains, the location and furnishings of the Edelweiss apartment were ideal. After being out and about in the area all day, we were happy to return to the cozy apartment in the evening. Although we were in Ramsau in the low season, the friendly landlord gave us good tips for restaurants and places to see in the surrounding area. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet and the great forest air and our dog loved running through the untouched nature. We will definitely come back because we felt very comfortable and there is still a lot to explore. Greetings from Berlin

We stayed in the spacious holiday apartment Edelweiß for 5 nights with two people and two dogs. The apartment is well equipped, clean and lovingly furnished. Whether in the kitchen or the two(!) bathrooms - there is everything you need including storage space. The bed is very comfortable, so you can relax well after strenuous hikes.The location is excellent! Ramsau itself is a good starting point for numerous activities in the Berchtesgaden region. The holiday apartment itself is in a quiet location but still central. Many excursion destinations can be reached directly on foot from the accommodation. The location is particularly great for dog owners because you are right in the countryside.The hosts are very friendly, professional and uncomplicated.We would be happy to come back and can only recommend staying at Haus Waldrast.
