As we have done for many years, we spent our autumn vacation at the beautiful Hintersee. Hospitality is very important to the Barthels family at the Alpenhof. The food is excellent and the service is very quick, courteous and super warm! Of course, a highlight is always the conversation with the senior and his tips for hikes and excursions. Dear Alpenhof team, stay as you are and we look forward to your next vacation with you!

A holiday at the Alpenhof has been our holiday highlight for years because everything just fits. Rooms, food, service and of course the Bartels family always make the stay a wonderful experience that we wouldn't want to miss. We are really looking forward to our next visit to the Alpenhof!!!

The Alpenhof am Hintersee is located in one of the most beautiful and historic landscapes in Germany.Top hospitality awaits you, coupled with classic and always fresh Bavarian delicacies prepared by the chefs themselves.Clean, bright and spacious rooms ensure a really pleasant and restful night's sleep, and from 7 p.m. onwards there is suddenly real peace at the Hintersee hotspot.The service was friendly, warmly attentive. Everything fits there.Go there and experience it for yourself. I can't recommend anything more.And no, I don't get any money for my review here. It's only the 11th time in a row that we've been going to this place and it's not getting boring, it's becoming more and more like a second home.The quality of the hosts says it all.

At the beginning of September we stayed at the Alpenhof for a week. The second time and hopefully many more to come. Our room was very spacious, very clean and very comfortable. The view from the balcony of the lake and the mountains is simply fantastic to enjoy. The Bartels family and the staff are all very friendly and nice, like a big family. Always open to questions, requests and good conversations. We felt very comfortable. Everything is right here. In the morning there is a rich, delicious breakfast, the food in the restaurant is freshly prepared, cheap and super tasty. The Kaiserschmarren is a poem. The operation is simply brilliant. Very quick, always ready to say something and very friendly. Our thanks to everyone and we hope to see you again.

So! I don't know where to start because I'm so excited!I was there from August 25th. until September 1st. with my father at the Gasthof Bartels and really enjoyed my stay there!We were out and about most of the time because there is a lot to see and experience in Berchtesgadener Land and neighboring Salzburg, but we were happy to return to the inn afterwards, which became a familiar home for us. The food was also fantastic and the prices were so humane. The breakfast was the finest, no wish was left out! Our room was beautiful and well-kept, the view from the balcony was amazing! Everyone, both the Bartels family and the employees, gave us a warm welcome and especially the waiter in the lederhosen was really great and always had a good saying ready. I love that kind of thing :)I would like to thank you very much for this wonderful stay with you!One thing is certain: next year you'll have me on your side again and then hopefully I'll be able to take a look at the museum!Greetings from East Westphalia!

I'm only reviewing the restaurant here because we only went there to eat.In 28°C heat with leather trousers and wool socks, the waiter was really quick. Order was taken quickly, drinks and food were brought quickly. The man is very friendly and does his job really well. The food was really cheap compared to other restaurants in the area and the portions were reasonable too.Highly recommended!!!

We spent a wonderful holiday here and relaxed very well. The Alpenhof has a great location on the Hintersee and it is wonderfully quiet here. The Bartels family is very welcoming and the staff are all very friendly. The restaurant has lots of delicious food at a very fair price. We have hereWe can relax comfortably in the afternoon after our hikes, with a view of the mountains. From here you can start many hikes or bike tours or leave directly by bus. Thank you for the lovely holiday. We would love to come back!
