We spent a weekend here from Friday to Sunday with friends of ours. The guesthouse is very close to the center and only about 300 meters from the train station.The contact with the guesthouse operator was very nice and warm from the start. The rooms were clean and well equipped. The paid parking lot is directly in front of the guesthouse in a well-protected courtyard.We were allowed to make ourselves comfortable in the breakfast room in the evening. There were even chilled drinks in the fridge for us for a relaxing evening.The whole guesthouse makes a very familiar impression. If we visit the beautiful city of Görlitz again, we will definitely try to get a room in this guesthouse again.

Incredibly lovingly managed accommodation with an eye for the small details. The host is very friendly and left some advice for the city and restaurants in the room. The breakfast was also delicious and overall we found everything to be more than worth the price. The location is also great, as you are immediately at the train station and in the city center. Highly recommended!

Check in with key safe.Very friendly welcome from Ms. Himpel.She also gave tips on possible excursions and leisure activities!Overnight stay with breakfast - it was rich and very lovingly prepared!Very clean and everything is signposted for guests and utensils (to borrow: kettle, hairdryer, books, pillows, blankets) can be found in the guesthouse by labeling!Coffee and tea are available free of charge!Highly recommended - keep it up!

As soon as we arrived we noticed that the guesthouse host had found his calling in his work. We were not only greeted with a handshake, but also really looked after. The innkeeper does everything imaginable to make his guests feel comfortable, such as an egg salad every morning, home-baked cakes every morning, very cheap drinks in the hotel fridge, etc. I was even allowed to recharge my electric car a little at the bicycle charging station and therefore made a charging stop for myself saved home. Next time I'm in Görlitz I'll definitely stay here again, especially since the location is ideal.

Lovingly furnished guesthouse very close to the city center. Entrance area, room, breakfast room all beautifully designed. The old town is about 5-10 minutes on foot, depending on your constitution! Breakfast is good 👍. But we were missing a bit of fresh fruit and vegetables.Very nice, friendly service! Everything was super clean.

Highly recommended!The host is friendly and tries very hard to offer his guests a pleasant stay. The rooms are clean and well furnished.The breakfast is delicious, high quality and varied.You are in the middle of it all and the car is safely parked in the large courtyard. In the evening you can take a drink from the fridge and read a little in the foyer. Class!Ok, one tiny drawback is the low water pressure in the shower.But price/performance is sensational in any case

This accommodation is highly recommended. The host is friendly, incredibly attentive and at the same time pleasantly unobtrusive. The furnishings are somehow totally homely and with a lot of attention to detail. Lots of books and just the right newspapers invite you to browse a little in the evening in the cozy common room or in your room.Every morning, a thoughtful and very tasty breakfast is served, including homemade jams, accompanied by appropriate music.In winter there is also a sauna in the basement.We'll be back.

We wanted to spend one night in Görlitz. Unfortunately, the first accommodation wasn't great... So we spontaneously looked for something else. There was still some space to the Green Gate. We were thrilled with the service, the room and the lovingly prepared breakfast. A clear recommendation from us. We would love to come back again. Thank you for everything.
