We were in the guesthouse for the second time now...what can you say...everything was great as always...great room...everything was super clean...and an excellent breakfast that left nothing to be desired...David is a very great host where the guest is still the focus.We would love to come back LG from Augsburg Katrin and Jan

Update as of 10/19/24As before, an unreserved RECOMMENDATION!We now describe our first stay at the “Gründer” guesthouse in Görlitz...The location of the guesthouse is rural, quiet. Also ideal for pets, especially dogs.Our room (see pictures) is very lovingly and stylishly furnished. The breakfast leaves nothing to be desired. However, if you have a special request, Mr. Founder will be happy to make it happen.The cleanliness of the entire guesthouse is exemplary, many accommodations (worldwide...) could take this guesthouse as an example.When it comes to bad reviews, we can't understand them. We will be happy to book this guesthouse again in the near future.Clearly...a recommendation!

There were two of us there with two dogs... we had a nice, large room that was comfortably furnished, had a comfortable bed and was spotlessly clean.The shower room is small but chic and clean.At breakfast there was everything you could need, fresh coffee, juice, eggs, warm rolls and fresh toppings - sweet and savory. Breakfast is served in the cozy winter garden.Our dogs also felt comfortable and there was also a parking space for the car right in front of the house.All in all very recommendable.

The five of us from Dresden were there from December 1st. We stayed in this guesthouse until December 3rd, 2023 and were completely satisfied and felt really comfortable. Nice rooms and very clean. The breakfast was made with a lot of love. To get to the city center we walked about 1.8km. From there bus line B went to the center, which also went back again late at night. There is also a bus stop at the Pension Gründer, at the top of the main street. These lines also run into the city center. But from around 7 p.m. these lines no longer run back. We didn't die on our daily little walk. On the contrary, the five of us had a lot of fun and were out in the fresh winter air. Mr. Founder is a very good host and we will be back in spring 2024. Görlitz is a very beautiful, interesting city. We would like to say thank you very much for the lovely stay, which is combined with a very nice time.

We got a super nice room and were absolutely satisfied. The guesthouse is a bit out of the way, but is really quiet. Parking is possible in the yard.You can choose your breakfast times and nothing is missing.We'd love to come back!

We had a bedroom, a small kitchen without windows and a so-called bathroom!The room was ok so far. We didn't use the kitchen.We can't say anything positive about the so-called bathroom! Very small, the sink was just enough to brush our teeth and gave us wet feet!We stayed in the guesthouse for five nights and discovered that the towels had not been changed!There isn't much positive to say about the breakfast, which is so praised. The baked rolls were delivered warm at the agreed time, but after two days you can no longer see them!!!The location is very quiet, there were very few parking spaces available. Apparently the path to the actual parking lot should be paved.There are definitely better guesthouses!

Very nice and attentive landlords. You get into personal conversations and it quickly becomes like a family relationship like between friends. The rooms are simple but lovingly designed. Bathroom a little tight. Location: it's not a big city and therefore quiet. Anyone who loves coziness is at home there, anyone looking for Rambazamba should keep looking.

Very nice, quiet area. We were warmly welcomed on site by David. Very nice family. A nice breakfast was prepared for us early in the morning. We would definitely recommend Pension Gründer to anyone looking for accommodation. I definitely give it six stars out of five!

Before Pentecost we stayed in this beautiful, quiet guesthouse with a very friendly hostel.Rustic furnishings, great room with a view of the garden with wonderfully blooming rhododendrons. Everything very clean. The very plentiful, appetizing breakfast is served in the winter garden. A feel-good atmosphere here too! It's only a few minutes by car to Görlitz. So - everything is great!Highly recommended guesthouse!

We were in the guesthouse for 10 days. The sole operator, Mr. David Gründer, is an extremely courteous, clean and funny guesthouse landlord! We immediately liked the rustic house and the clean guesthouse. This includes a large parking lot where cars can park safely. At first we were given a small room because everyone was full. Mr. Founder then contacted us and even upgraded us because we were staying there longer! I have rarely seen such service! The breakfast is outstanding. They are very good baked rolls that are warm and ready to serve on the table at the breakfast time you order! Above all, it doesn't matter when you want to have breakfast! Plus an egg and a wonderful platter with toppings. We were completely amazed! Mr. Founder was always as quick as a weasel and we had a lot of fun with him and his little son Erik. P.S. We have been to this guesthouse for the second time.It really is a wonderful guesthouse.I can only praise Mr. Founder's hospitality highly.He is courteous and responsive to the guests' needs.The rooms are functional and lovingly furnished.The free WiFi is very good.The breakfast was generous and really tasty.There was a cozy and pleasant atmosphere in the guest room.The room was lovingly decorated for Christmas.For our family, the guesthouse was an oasis over the Christmas period.In the future we will always stay at Pension Gründer when we travel to Görlitz.Mr. Founder, thank you for your hospitality.Best regards from Switzerland 🙏🏼

Very friendly welcome and always nice during our stay...We felt like we were in great hands. The rooms are very nicely decorated... and everything is clean. A very beautiful winter garden in which there was a very varied, lovingly prepared and delicious breakfast every day. We will miss it. Kind regards from the Woller family too
