We stayed at Haus Pax twice. We had already booked the second stay before the first - otherwise we would certainly not have gone to this accommodation a second time. Since the first vacation was completely spontaneous, unfortunately only basement apartment No. 1 was available. The bed covers were stained and partly turned inside out, the sofa bed had definitely seen better days and the beds were from the 60s or 70s (two single beds, which wasn't apparent in the photos). The plastic slatted frames had mold spots. After we contacted the manager, he came with an employee and the slatted frames were cleaned, but they claimed there was no mold, just dirt and the statement was that they had never done a basic cleaning since they had been managing the house, only one Alternating cleaning and supposedly there has never been any mold in the apartment. The window frames, the ceiling in the bathroom, and the heating pipes laid on the wall in strange detours in the living room, as well as the back of the living room cupboard, testify to the opposite. The beds should be replaced after our stay. The apartment was full of cobwebs, skirting boards hadn't been cleaned and the radiators were just disgustingly dirty, so you didn't dare dry your towel on them. In general, nothing really dried out down there in April. Even a previously promised change of towels after a week did not take place. When we asked what detergent was used (due to an allergic reaction), we were told that the laundry was only washed with fabric softener. So it's no wonder that the tea towels don't dry properly...Despite there being a washing machine in the house, we were not allowed to use it because the owner didn't want us to. So we had to wash out our laundry in the shower if the children had a mishap. We also couldn't find a clothes rack that was supposed to be there, or a bicycle rack. Only a clothesline outside under the trees where the birds sit, which didn't get us anywhere given the temperatures in April. Unfortunately, we also missed a trash can in the bathroom, which I find particularly unreasonable for parents with diapered children and for women who rely on hygiene products, who then have to dispose of diapers etc. in the kitchen or hang an open trash bag in the bathroom to have to. Two kitchen chairs were cracked, which we hadn't seen before, so our son (24 kg) collapsed directly into one of them. The apartment, which was supposedly freshly painted, was not painted properly (there were still brown stains over the bed in the bedroom and the hallway also looked very half-heartedly painted). The smoke detector was in the drawer instead of on the ceiling and the knob on the coat rack (from the 60s) was missing towards us.Our second stay in apartment number 5 on the 1st floor, a few weeks later, confirmed the picture. Despite the fact that I had previously asked by email to please clean the apartment thoroughly this time, including radiators etc., the apartment was unfortunately just as dirty as downstairs. Remains of toothpaste from the previous tenant in the sink, dirt around the sink and stove, hair in the dishwasher, coffee stains on the work surface, the kettle and coffee machine so calcified that you don't want to use them, the same dirty couch and the equally disgusting shower curtain (even with hair from the previous tenant). ), which you wouldn't want to touch with any part of your body for the world. The slatted frame is defective and the bed sheet has holes. In addition, there is a lack of everything you can imagine: pictures on the wall (nails are available), a working clock, bread knife, vegetable peeler, cereal bowls (there are only three mini-small dessert bowls in an apartment for 4 to 5 people).
