Nestled in the beautiful town of Nebel, in a very quiet location, but still only a 10' walk to the bus stop, we "old people" and our adult daughter stayed in this great hotel for 3 nights.The house is run with heart and love by the "young" Winkler's, the two service ladies are super nice and very attentive.Breakfast with fresh bread - everything your heart desires and black Frisian tea - leaves nothing to be desired.Tips from the host family on how to explore the island and where to stop for a gastronomic stop - everything was perfect.And since we had to take the first ferry at 6 a.m., we had a large packed lunch as an alternative to breakfast.Many thanks to the Winkler family for these unique days in Amrum, good luck to the still young company, and: we'll be back.Kind regards from the outskirts of Berlin

A true pearl with an absolute feel-good atmosphere from arrival to departure.The very warm welcome in the family-run hotel immediately puts you in a relaxed holiday feeling and gives you an idea that your stay at Ekke Nekkepenn will be great.Being welcomed with home-baked waffles according to grandmother's recipe shows the very loving nature of the care and the intention of hospitality.The very nice communication is extremely nice and helpful for local tips on how to plan your day.The rooms are tastefully furnished with attention to detail and are very comfortable and the breakfast is very rich and original with everything your heart desires.The house is run with passion, is very authentic and very pleasant.We really, really enjoyed our stay and would like to thank you again for such a wonderful time at Ekke Nekkepenn.If we come to Amrum again, we will definitely come to you!!!Best regardsIngke and Gunnar with Leencke

The Ekke Nekkepenn is a wonderful little hotel in the heart of Nebel, the most beautiful place in Amrum. Lena and Bandix Winkler are magical, friendly, super helpful hosts. The room - we lived in 02 - was very tastefully decorated, with many loving and practical details. The breakfast is very tasty and mostly comes from local suppliers. The cooperation with the only 2min. The distant bike rental worked perfectly. It was a little too cold during our visit, but the beach chair and the tables and chairs in the garden suggest that it must be even nicer there in summer. Nebel itself is a beautiful place and an ideal starting point for exploring the entire island. In short: The Ekke Nekkepenn is simply the perfect “home away from home” on Amrum. We'll definitely be back!

A beautiful, small, very well-run breakfast hotel in a very good, quiet location. Everything is easily accessible and trips to the neighboring islands are no problem. The breakfast is varied and nothing is missing. The rooms are tastefully decorated and everything is clean and well maintained. The nice and friendly operators complete the whole thing and it's a holiday from the start.We say thank you for the lovely stay with you. 🏳️🌈
