We spent a few great days at this campsite. Super nice staff, clean sanitary facilities and a mega good restaurant on site. We had the comfort pitch and were very happy about it. This was in the middle of nature. We wouldn't have liked the standard parking space that much. Directly adjacent to the site are the dunes, we hiked here for 2 days. Simply absolutely incredible the nature, flora and fauna and this silence. Clear recommendation from us and we will come back at some point :)

(+) Staff super friendly(+) Very clean sanitary facilities.(-) Juicy prices. Expensive parking space, expensive shop, flat rate electricity of €6/day is not fair given low consumption. And there is also an additional charge for WiFi.(-) The standard parking space is nothing more than an extension of the parking lot, located outside the actual camping area.(-) We felt very disturbed by the visitors to the public viewing (football game) and by the construction site. That didn't really give us the feeling of experiencing nature and being on holiday. Too bad.Unfortunately, too many downers. Otherwise it would be a nice, well-run place right on the boardwalks.

Absolutely TOP campsite 🏕️! The idea of service is very important. Very helpful on arrival and briefing on the pitches. Very clean and modern sanitary facilities. Small shop on the campsite with everything you need for the day. Very good cafe/restaurant.We have rarely visited such a good place. Absolute recommendation - whether as a single/couple or family.Very spacious pitches and very natural.

The campsite gave us more than we hoped for. We really liked the location and the cleanliness we found there. We were there for 18 days. The only thing that surprised us was the unfriendliness of the campers! It is said that campers are very friendly towards one another, but how most of them tried to pass by and not say hello surprised us a lot.

Very nice campsite in the middle of the dunes with appropriate (sometimes sandy) pitches. Very well connected to public transport with the bus stop right in front of the square.I think the restaurant on site is quite expensive for a campsite, but you also want to appeal to customers outside of the site. We came to just under 24 euros for a pizza. To be fair, even good eaters can share these, although I personally would prefer half the quantity for half the price. Both at the reception and in the shop we were always very friendly and service-oriented; we felt absolutely welcome. Directly from the site, a boardwalk leads into the dunes and on to the extensive Kniepsand. The place itself was very quiet (when we were there, off-season). We had chickens, rabbits and pheasants as animal “guests”. The place is a clear recommendation, we will definitely come back!

So the four of us spent 12 days at the DünenCamping campsite in Amrum and the location is simply wonderful ☺️ Otherwise we travel with our team and stay a maximum of two days. For this reason we know a lot of campsites. Here in Amrum we cycled, walked or did both every day and it was wonderful. Everything was easy to reach. The campsite is special. We had a comfort pitch. No, the comfort was not toilet, water etc. directly at the caravan, but the pitch was in the dunes and had electricity on site. Great parking space, really great. A tractor towed our caravan into the dune and we had to leave our car behind. It wasn't a problem ☺️it stayed there for 11 days. The sanitary facilities were great. Rarely have I had such a spacious shower at a campsite. There were toilets with and without toilet seats for everyone as they liked. Everything was always very clean and well maintained. The restaurant gets its own review 😉Since I suffer from celiac disease (autoimmune disease/systemic disease) I have to live on a diet - nothing else is possible and I'm always happy to get a cookie when I get gluten-free food. Unfortunately there was no offer in the campsite shop, although I suspect there would be buyers. The non-affected person has no idea but 60-80% of processed foods contain gluten. Especially sweets 🍫. Well, the coffee was great and collecting a €5 deposit for the cup was probably very sustainable. According to my wife, the rolls were great and always fresh. Cake was obviously delicious too 😋 I was really a bit jealous luckily 🍀 there was ice cream in the chest. As a drink tip, we took Josef Rauch's pomegranate tea with us. We didn't even know it tasted great before. All in all it was a great stay and the overall package of the campsite was top notch. Thank you very much 🙏🏻

We were here with the caravan for 12 days and were more than satisfied. From arrival to departure everything was wonderful. We had a great parking space right on the dunes, the caravan was towed in by the truck and we were helped with the load.The sanitary facilities are more than clean - I would wish for this mega cleaning service at home. Nothing smells, nothing moldy, everything was really great. The washing up house is also always clean. A leftover box for sustainability. Dog parking spaces, always an open ear for requests. The whole place was very well maintained. We were very excited and will definitely come back again.

It was really nice and relaxing with you. The showers are spacious and always clean. Very friendly team, nice shop with regional goods. What I would definitely like to mention is the restaurant. The taste is so delicious, whether it's pizza, pasta or risotto, unfortunately we weren't there for a short time to try everything. So it's a must and always a pleasure because of the great service team. Thank you all and keep it up!

Good location, but unfortunately largely unfriendly staff.And overall it's being ripped off. The prices in the shop are fair, but extra for electricity, dishwashers and so on...Toilets clean, but 50% without toilet seats!

Dünencamping Amrum definitely gets 5 stars from me!The campsite has everything you need as a camper, and on the most beautiful island :-)You camp in the middle of the dunes, you can mingle with the other campers or retreat to a quiet corner with your tent.There are excellent cooking and washing facilities, fridges and freezers and even microwaves and dishwashers. The entire campsite and the sanitary facilities are very clean and tidy.The employees are very nice and warm! You just feel right at home :-)If you don't want to cook yourself, you can enjoy the evening in the "integrated" restaurant Bella Ciao with delicious food and friendly service.We'll definitely be happy to come back :-)

The location of the place is beautiful. We spent 4 nights in a lodge that was spartan but had everything you needed. Not connected to the sewer system, so no bath or shower. The price of €114 per night is not justified. Unfortunately we had no choice as we couldn't find any other accommodation during this period. We won't come back.PS:A note after our conversation:I'm sorry that I made a wrong choice of words. But in my opinion it's a simple calculation: on one side there's a price and on the other side there's what you get for it. You cannot take existing nature into account. The accommodation is small and simple. Even though there are reasons for it being the way it is, in my opinion it justifies a price of this level, even in season.

The campsite impresses with its location in the dunes. It really is exceptionally great.Staff are out several times a day to clean the sanitary facilities. There are no toilet seats, anyone who travels outside of Germany knows this.A little tip: for short-term bookings/rebookings/extensions, check the availability of the ferries beforehand.We'll be back!

Beautifully located campsite in the dunes with a very friendly welcome and very nice staff.We had a great place with our camper.Small drawback: the WiFi network is so weak that you can't actually use it.
