We had a wonderful week at Neuhäuserhof in Schuttertal in July. The farm is located about 2.5km outside of the town, up a private forest road. Thus, it is very remote and quit, ideal for a relaxing vacation away from city noise and work. The apartment was comfortable and provided everything we needed for our family vacation. Hiking trails start right at the farm. Both the Schutter and Kinzig valleys are easily accessible by car (though the routes may not be obvious at first).The Meßner family welcomed us warmly and was always available with helpful tips. The homemade bread, honey, jams, and Leberwurst were delicious!Highly recommended!

Very quiet location. You can forget about everyday life and relax here.The landlords are very friendly. We spent a few lovely days and evenings there.

It was our first time on the farm with our children. It is idyllically surrounded by forest and meadows. If you need a break from your hectic everyday life, this is the right place for you. We felt very comfortable in the apartment. It is perfectly equipped and extremely modern. The children loved looking after the cows, horses, cats and the dog. The children also enjoyed the tractor rides and the fresh cow's milk for breakfast. The equipment of the apartment: thisTop modern bathroom, the beds, the kitchen, the sofa, the dining area were absolutely suitable for us and perfectly equipped, functional, modern and very clean, well-kept. We had a very appreciative, open relationship with the family and also the other holidaymakers. We are sure we will vacation at the Neuhäuserhof again!

We were there with 6 people for a week and booked again straight away. It was just fantastically beautiful. You could have absolute peace and action for the children at the same time. The apartment was well equipped and we didn't miss anything. Excursion destinations and shopping opportunities were not far away. The host family was very friendly and always available for a chat. Even with little crutches I was able to experience almost everything. Thank you for the great vacation and goodbye 😄

A great farm for the children. Everything can be explored and anyone who wants to can help. The horses are very popular and you can ride them together with Dorothea. The kids are thrilled.

We booked the new apartment on the farm and had a very nice stay on the farm with our two daughters. The kitchen was very well equipped, the beds were comfortable and all of our questions were answered quickly and easily. We were particularly pleased that it was a real farm that we could touch and experience, including riding and feeding the cows. We enjoyed it very much!P.S.: Don't miss out on the locally produced honey. :)P.P.S.: The only thing you should know about the apartment is that it is basically one large room, i.e. the bedroom cannot be separated by a door. But that didn't bother us.

We visited the farm for the first time with friends last fall. Anyone looking for peace and quiet is in good hands there. The children always have something to do and lots to experience. The highlight are the horse rides. The hosts are super nice and always helpful. We felt very comfortable and will be back from Sunday. This time during the summer holidays. There are fresh eggs, honey from our own bees, fresh milk from our own cows and much more. 🙏💪😃

We have been enjoying coming to the Neuhäuser Hof for several years now. Our children love these timeouts so much! There are cows, horses, chickens, cats and bees and so a lot to discover. Where does our milk come from? How is honey made? These and many other answers can be found here. The farm is very authentic.The family is very hospitable and you immediately feel at home here. We never get bored here. The farm also offers a good starting point for excursions! Every year we have a cross marked for this farm in our calendar.

We spent a week at Neuhäuser Hof with our two girls (3 & 7) during the winter holidays. After the dark path through the forest, it really is like “arriving in another world”. Simply beautiful, decelerating and full of opportunities to reflect on the essentials. Our girls were particularly fond of the horses. We will be back!

It was a wonderful time on the farm. I was with six children and everyone was happy. You were really allowed to go anywhere, whether it was a horse stable or a cow stable, you were also welcome to milk. The accommodation corresponded to the pictures and had enough space for all of us. I can only recommend it.

We, 2 families and a dog, felt very comfortable there over the New Year. The children were able to feed the cows and help muck and feed the horses. There was also a horseback ride. Always my pleasure
