We were offered a double room and a day after we accepted the offer, we were suddenly told that the room was no longer available. Ms. Peters was not interested in information about the conclusion of the rental agreement according to the general terms and conditions. We had already booked the ferry, reserved connecting accommodation... All in good faith, we had a room. What do you want with a hotel where you can't rely on the booking? Apparently we were far from the first to have this experience with Ms. Peters. I wish all guests who book at Pidder Lyng good luck in the room lottery.

The two of us stayed at the Hotel Pidder Lyng at very short notice, out of season, and we received incredibly friendly advice over the phone. Everything went smoothly when we arrived (via bus) and we were taken to the suite, which impressed with both the beautiful view and the natural brightness from the numerous windows.The time window of 4 hours (8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.) for breakfast would have even left the possibility of getting up later. The savory options included sausage, ham and cheese as well as some fish and crabs, which I was very impressed with (especially in terms of taste).I would come here again for another vacation.

Everything about the hotel and the staff was relaxed and we were able to easily enjoy our vacation. The hostess also sat down with us every now and then at breakfast and we were able to easily get up-to-date information about the hotel and the surrounding area. It is really highly recommended to spend the night there and a delicious gourmet breakfast was also included.

First of all, the breakfast was amazing. Full of crabs, fish salads, smoked fish, sausage, cheese, etc.The location is also great with a view of the Wadden Sea. However, even we as North Germans had to swallow a few times when it came to the North German friendliness. Wellness, which was also a reason for us to book there, actually didn't exist. Of the 3 saunas announced, only one was in operation and there was no chance that the others (steam or infrared) would be turned on. Someone lived in the relaxation room. So only the hot sauna was on and “wellness” was not possible. You also couldn't use the opening time from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. because the sauna wasn't turned on until 3 p.m. and was therefore only 75-80 degrees even at 4 p.m. By 7 p.m. she was usually out.
