We were there today as 5 adults and 3 children with 2 dogs and everything was wonderful, the best food, so delicious, super friendly. Recommendation from the heart because 100% convinced.We'll definitely come back more often

Beautifully located farm in the Kinzigtal with cattle, Black Forest horses and Swiss mountain dogs.We came to the Schmalzenhof for the first time two weeks ago and are thrilled with the really cozy granary/vespers room and of course the home-made food. The organic limousine rump steak and the Stüble burger with homemade brioche bun and organic beef patty are a real treat! Homemade must is also recommended.We'd love to come back, sometimes for brunch or a Black Forest farmer's meal. The only thing left to mention is that, depending on how you get there, I would call beforehand, as the granary can also be booked for celebrations.We will definitely come back and can recommend it to anyone who values homemade, high-quality food and also appreciates the work behind it.

The holiday apartment is a dream! Nothing is missing. The Neumaier family is a very nice and warm host. The Schmalzenhof itself, with its livestock breeding and village shop, but also with the Vesperstube and the holiday apartment, is a well thought-out concept. The quality of the meat products and the food in the Vesperstube are excellent. If you don't feel comfortable and relaxed here... We have already booked again for next year.

We picked up two snack bags here for our MTB tour. What had to be packed was packed in paper. I thought that was really great. No plastic or any rubbish like that. The drink that came with it was in a deposit bottle. Of course made of glass. The operators were very welcoming.So, only recommended!!!
