Very nice campsite. We received a very friendly welcome from the boss. We immediately felt at home. Very helpful. He gave us a really nice place. Where we met very nice people❤️. Sanitary facilities are always super clean. You can do a lot from there. The outdoor pool next door is also great.If we are in the area again, we would be happy to come back.

This is a beautiful, quiet and well positioned site. We were English tourists staying in September with EuroCamp-Homair which has a section of the site on the terrace overlooking nice scenery. The site is really well maintained with a spotlessly clean toilet/shower/washing block. No restaurant or bread service as visited right at the end of the season but this available in high season. This wasn't a problem as the village with restaurants, bakeries and good quality supermarket is only a 12 minute walk away or 2 minutes in the car. Very well positioned for the Black Forest and also the cities of Frieburg, Offenburg and Strasbourg. The railway station / bahn is a 25 minute walk away with fast connections across the region including to Switzerland. Friendly, warm welcome from both Eurocamp Reps and the owners/reception staff. Would enjoy returning to this lovely campingplatz.

We decided to camp here at relatively short notice.We were really pleasantly surprised when we arrived late! A really beautiful, well-kept and terraced campsite, surrounded by lots of greenery, awaited us. We felt very comfortable straight away!The sanitary facilities are not the newest, but are very clean and well maintained (which is the most important thing for us).The only thing that I don't understand is why check-in is only possible from 3:00 p.m. Check-out must be done by 11:30 a.m.Unfortunately we could only stay one night, but we will definitely come back :-). I was very happy about the short and nice conversation with the operator and is a reason for me to come back soon ;-).With that in mind, see you soon and even though I haven't bred any pigs with you (yet) I would like to offer the "you" ;-).Greetings Manuel & Ramona

Turned up here today in my motorhome, reception was closed (13:05). Gates were closed to the campsite so I parked in the car park just outside the gates.As it was really hot I left the engine running for the air con.An employee / owner came across to me and was very rude pointing at my motor home. I didn’t know what he meant but questioned him and he said the engine was extremely loud.I can’t see how an engine running in the middle of the day is that loud it’s not like it has a sports exhaust on it.He asked if I had a booking and I said no but I’d like to make one but reception was closed till 15;00.He said there’s no places for me at his campsite but said it like I’d been naughty and I’m not welcome. I questioned him what do you mean me ? And he said there’s no motor home pitches.He was very rude and waived his arms about like he was having a paddy.I’m not the only reviewer that has experienced this exact same thing. We can’t all be wrong and your version of reality is correctif you’re going to get annoyed about certain things then why don’t you put up a sign so people will know.Went to Europa park campsite instead and they gave us a free hour in Europa park too so worked out much better in the end.Hope you felt a big man upsetting my childrenAnother review hit the nail on the head comparing the owner to bazil faulty having a meltdownGoogle won’t let me put an accurate description of the owner but let’s just say I compare him to some one in fancy dress with big red and yellow floppy shoesShame about the operators as the campsite looked very nice from what we saw and I bet if you don’t have an involvement with the operators you’d be fine

Booked this campsite in January. 2 mobile caravans for 6 nights, each with 2 adults and 1 dog. Everything paid so that we can stay in a mobile home in September without any worries. Unfortunately, we received an email at the end of June that dogs are not welcome... even though it had already been booked and paid in full. You have to contact us yourself to find out how to proceed. Bookings have been canceled and we have been able to find a new destination. Very special that this is possible...

There is nothing to do at the campsite. The bar was closed due to lack of staff, the baker was on leave so no bread delivery. The swimming pool is not part of the campsite and has to be paid for separately. …

Unfortunately we were only there for 3 days. We received a very warm welcome and were well looked after throughout. Sanitary facilities super neat! Very well-kept campsite with table tennis tables, football pitch and swimming pool around the corner. To Europa Park 15 minutes by car. Thank you very much for the lovely days and if I ever come back to the corner - I'd be happy to do so again! 😃

Difficult to reach with a caravan.The road to the campsite is not very wide, but when there are visitors to the adjacent swimming pool, it is also full of parked cars for quite a distance. I had to fold my mirrors several times and maneuver the caravan past parked cars with only a few centimeters to spare. That was so exciting that I won't go there again.Relieved that I had arrived without damage, I reported this. The owner claimed that it never happens that cars park there and that we were just unlucky that day that the entire street was full, but the parking lanes in that road are simply indicated as such, so that is not very credible. He also acknowledged that the situation (coincidentally only today) was really unacceptable and that he had notified the police/municipality. He apparently didn't think it was important to inform his customer who was on the road: he would just figure it out.I had already made a booking for the return trip before my holiday. Since I did not want to revisit this adventure, I wanted to cancel it and made this known well in advance. He did not respond to my reasonable request for a refund of the deposit.

8/19/24. I receive many lines from operators on my review. It's a shame there's no time for writing and reading. I stand by it: things can get better.I was here for 7 days in August 2024 with a small WB and awning on the site. Check-in was quick, without any kind words. I couldn't get anything into my hands, like the internet or something similar. When I checked out, I said, "It was a good time." That's it! Guest care is different. Whether you're coming back or have been there before, it's all unnecessary. The place is probably doing well economically thanks to the many long-term campers and as a 7-day guest you can't expect more. Too bad. We don't want to compare with the Lux Oasis, but there are a lot of things better there. If you want that. The course is overall attractive, a few meters from the great outdoor pool and the tennis club. The sanitary facilities are clean. However, the 3.5 second frequency on the taps is annoying. The washbasins are installed too low. The toilet seats are completely unacceptable. The Romans probably left them behind after they served as an instrument of torture. The cabins are too narrow. I am a quality trainer and specialist journalist in tourism and always evaluate things objectively and fairly.

The sites are beautiful, well cared for and spacious.However, what we thought was a shame is that almost everyone parked their car on the roadside, which gives the impression that you are walking in a parking lot. At least this is the case in the street where we were. Of course it is up to everyone whether he/she is bothered by this.As soon as there are fewer cars on the site, it will look a lot nicer.The sanitary building looks neat and is cleaned every morning. Personally, I think it could be done one more time.The staff is very friendly.Bread roll service is available. Order before 7:00 PM and it will be on the bread rack early the next morning with your name on it. You can take it with you without visiting the reception.In Herbolzheim there is a wonderful restaurant "gasthof zur tanne" with a nice menu offering value for money.The surroundings are truly breathtaking and there is much to do.A tour through the black forest is very worthwhile.

Tight road is really not true, last Sunday it was again very busy at the swimming pool with cars, but a truck could still pass by. Then I can name some other campsites with really exciting access. The only downside of the campsite is poor WiFi, but above all that I can't even use my Vodafone data bundle. Never happened to me before. Hopefully the era of fiber optic will also come here in the future.

Super nice owner. Unfortunately we were only here for one night. Next time we'll come longer. Unfortunately, we had our reservation for the wrong month, but we weren't turned away but warmly welcomed. Everything was explained well and then we had a great breakfast with the delicious rolls. Gladly again

We stayed at this campsite for 1 night while passing through. Wonderfully quiet campsite with beautiful camping pitches, clean sanitary facilities and a wonderful rain shower. Very friendly owner, Europark is nearby, so highly recommended for a stay and a visit to this amusement park!
