I was “just” in the pub. A delicious meal at Mary's and nice service from Simone. Besides, there were only nice guests there. What more could you want?

I have to say in advance that the accommodation was booked for one night for me for work.Access to the rooms in the main house is via a steep and narrow staircase. This would be absolutely not safe for people who are unsteady on their feet. The room was very nice, as was the bathroom at first glance (the black sky in the old cracked joints is no longer there)The bed was comfortable and large.Breakfast... Okay vegetarian, BUT not for people with lactose intolerance - almost only dairy products (3 slices of cheese, spreadable cream, milk, yoghurt) plus two slices of cucumber and two cocktail tomatoes, Nutella, jam, an egg (you had to prepare it yourself) and a small apple and a granola bar. Coffee and tea (chamomile and peppermint) were available. I couldn't open water because there was no bottle opener. Unfortunately, orange nectar was very sweet - artificial.Rolls (2 white rolls) are only available at the door from 0715. You can't do it earlier (unless you buy something yourself). And no bread or anything packaged and nothing made from whole grains. No muesli as an alternative to the rolls. So for just under €100 for this one night I honestly lived and ate much better. In addition, the train station is not 800m but 1200m away on foot according to Google Maps. It's a small thing, yes, but if someone isn't that good on foot, you should just take it into account. Conclusion: if you want to see the area privately it might be nice, but as accommodation for workers who want a good and "quick" breakfast in the morning it is not good.In addition, the forest nearby is currently closed due to the risk of tree falls, so a walk in nature was unfortunately not possible, at least at the moment.

Eifel Quartier Em Garstüffje (pension): 4/10 small, bright, modern room with a small kitchenette. Pleasant beds, mattress a bit too soft. Clean room and windowless bathroom with a small sachet of shower gel. Shower cubicle very small and various defective joints. Towels and made beds included. There are sufficient parking spaces, breakfast is stored in the apartment and eaten there. WiFi available, but access to the network is not possible. There was no air conditioning, so it was very stuffy and warm. The guesthouse is in the same building as a classic pub. Not good value for money because it's too expensive.

Clean and cozy room with a fully equipped kitchenette. Heavier people (like me) might have slight problems getting in and out of the shower; this is going to be tight. Check-in and check-out were pleasantly uncomplicated. However, you have to like the stairs to the first floor, they are quite steep, narrow and winding. All in all we would stay here again.

The room was new and nice, only the drain in the bathroom smelled very badly and needed to be repaired urgently. Breakfast in the room simple but good. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with the food in the restaurant; the price-performance ratio was not good at all. We would come back to stay overnight.
