The Waldscheerhof gave our family (children aged 6 & 9) a lovely week. The Scheer family is very hospitable, the rooms are fully equipped with a newly renovated bathroom. Otherwise, as usual on farms, simply furnished, but generously sized at 50 square meters, plus a terrace with a panoramic view.In the yard there is a small playground, a large, well-maintained pool with sunbathing areas and a small play barn as an alternative to bad weather. You can help look after the dairy cows and pet the cats, dogs and ponies.Simply a paradise for children! Great starting point for hikes, very quiet, but also very remote. The only thing that would be recommended is mosquito nets on the windows.

Holidays on the farm, feeding cows, petting goats and ponies, cuddling with cats, riding on the tractor or refreshing yourself in the pool, pure relaxation, our third visit was also a success, friendly, courteous, helpful, it's almost like Come home, arrive and feel good - we'll be happy to come back - thank you very much :-)

Arrive and feel good.The Waldscheerhof is the perfect place for the children, whether they are cuddling with the farm dog Zora, helping in the stable or discovering the play barn and pool.And this place is also special for adults, seeing how the children can move freely and the children's eyes beaming is great.Thanks to the Scheer families for the great short vacation in the middle of meadows and pure nature.

It was a very nice week on the Scheer family's well-kept farm. The apartment had everything you needed and our daughter had a lot of fun with the animals. Great area with wonderful landscape and excursion destinations.

A beautiful and well-kept yard. The Scheer family is very friendly and helpful.The accommodation has everything you need for a holiday.The children can run and play anywhere without any worries. You are away from the busy road and really have peace and quiet with a great view. Hiking trails lead directly from the accommodation and make hikers' hearts beat faster. The area is simply beautiful, but you should expect “longer” travel times if you want to go somewhere. It was a great and relaxing vacation for all of us and we'll be back soon!

We spent a lovely week at the Waldscheerhof. Very friendly hosts who patiently answered all of the children's questions. Small but nice and very clean apartment with everything you need for basic supplies!We will definitely come back!

We were there with our grandson (4yrs, 2.5yrs) in January. Despite the bad weather, we always found a distraction for the two of us with the farm, play barn and the in-house playground.The apartment is very nice and well maintained. The Scheer family is very hospitable.

We had a lovely holiday there in the summer of 2020 and booked straight away again for this summer 2021.The location is wonderfully quiet, right on the edge of the forest and the view of the mountains is great.The pool was our highlight on this slightly different holiday under Corona conditions.

Very child friendly. Children have the opportunity to help in the stable in the morning and evening.The apartments are spacious and clean.There is a pool in the yard that is heated by solar panels and becomes pleasantly warm when there is enough sun.There are hiking opportunities in the immediate vicinity.There are no spectacular excursion destinations in the area. You have to accept travel time. The nearest supermarket is also over 20 minutes away. You should take that into account and if you can live with it, you can have a nice family vacation on the farm.
