We were at the Apfelscheune-Cannewitz from May 9th to 12th, 2024 as a family outing. The holiday home is a gem, nothing is missing. You just have to remember that there are three bedrooms and an alternative option in the living room. The landscape was idyllic, we often went for walks and went on day trips. Gladly again.Greetings family Gell

We booked the house with friends via Airbnb and left with very mixed feelings after reading the rather bad reviews. In fact, the accommodation was very nice, clean and like the photos on the internet. The furnishings are very valuable and the fireplace is wonderful. We didn't use the outdoor area due to the time of year. You had to bring your own bed linen and towels.

Very clean and tidy apartment. Only the roller blind in the bathroom is missing. The key safe sometimes likes to hang 🙃Highly recommended!

We were the family that was already there (see last review). The barn is basically very nicely decorated. It's just no use if someone suddenly shows up at the door who has also booked the holiday home. :( Doesn't work at all.The house is listed on so many portals that the landlord probably can't manage to organize it properly. It's never happened to us either. In principle, if a tenant is not interested in a reason, then it has to be blocked.Likewise, nothing was cleaned at all. The ground is crumbly. The previous tenants' piles of bed linen were still in the rooms. Thank goodness we didn't have to take them off (brrrr) and had brought our own bedding. The bathroom was a mess, the mirror was stained, there was hair from the previous tenant in the shower. Seriously? The kitchen was great, we don't see why we have to save money on a coffee machine (max. €30). Facilities otherwise good. The place is really at the top of the world, perhaps important for those with sensitive, lowered cars. :)The garden was not usable. Totally neglected. And that has nothing to do with “close to nature”. We didn't let the kids out.All in all we wouldn't book it again. We were lucky with the deposit and cleaning, the booking portal transferred it back to us.

Very attractively designed eat-in kitchen, spacious with elegant and comfortable stairs to the upper floor. Kitchen is impressively modern, with induction cooker (attention pacemaker wearers). Beds were quite comfortable, there was no sofa in the kitchen-living room...unfortunately there was no blind in the single room, but it was otherwise easy to darken. Noise from the highway can be heard, but it doesn't bother you much. A chair or something similar is missing for a stay with small children. The terrace is nice, you can see the herbs on it, but not well maintained, as is the meadow... unfortunately there were a lot of mosquitoes, despite gauze in front of each window. So please equip yourself with spray and plugs beforehand! There isn't much in the immediate area, but with small children we recommend visiting the pretty playgrounds on the Bautzen city wall. Still a nice and recommendable house!

Beautiful holiday home, modern (the kitchen is a dream) and cozy furnishings (with a fireplace), plus a very idyllic environment.
