Very nice holiday home for a large group with children. The spacious garden with play equipment is ideal, well-organized and enclosed so that the children cannot leave. The beds were comfortable and the bedding was decent. The facilities in the house were neat.The only negatives were the WiFi and communication. The WiFi did not work anywhere and the contact person's phone was not answered all weekend and no calls were returned. Fortunately, we were able to watch the football via the German channel and a few days offline is also nice!

Great stay for large groups. A former hotel with a large kitchen including all necessary cooking utensils. 2 large areas where you can eat, one of which has a bar. The property is located at the end of an unpaved road, so there is no through traffic, which is great if there are children present. The very spacious garden with bouncy castle, swings and table tennis can also be closed off sufficiently. Lovely and beautiful walking area right next to the accommodation. The accommodation has ample parking spaces. Monschau is a 10-minute drive away, easily accessible. rooms are on the first and second floors. The ground floor has 1 spacious bedroom. Highly recommended in terms of location and facilities. A note for people who have difficulty walking, stairs to the bedrooms and to the bar.

Beautiful large holiday home for a large group of people in a fantastically beautiful environment. It is far from civilization, so you have to drive a bit for groceries, but that should not spoil the fun. The house has a beautiful large kitchen, which is fully equipped. Two large living areas, one of which is a real pub. Sauna available and sufficient bedrooms with private shower and toilet. Recommended😊

This rural holiday home is located in the beautiful Eifel, where you can take wonderful walks.The kitchen is professionally equipped, so that good meals can be prepared. A professional dishwasher is also available.Good dining space. The evenings can be spent in the cozy bar. Even a sauna is available.

We rented the former hotel for a birthday party. Very friendly handover with all the explanations you need.The rooms were spacious and all with private bathrooms. The rooms on the upper floor had fly screens and unfortunately the others did not. Since there were a lot of mosquitoes and flies on site at the time, it was very unpleasant.The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals. We brought food and everything we needed for the dishes with us.There was also a covered barbecue area and lots of plastic chairs.The sauna was easy to use and everything was fine.What wasn't so good are the lounge chairs in the sauna.The 3-hour hike was also pleasant and started directly from the house.The handover was uncomplicated and completely OKOverall, the location was good for the holidays.

We stayed at the Gut Heistert holiday home on the last weekend in March.Positive? -Everything!Negative? - Nothing!The only negative thing was that the clock changed that weekend, so we were able to spend an hour less in this beautiful house.Things were professional right from the moment we arrived.Key handover, explanations about the rooms, appliances in the kitchen... everything was thought of and conveyed in a very friendly manner.The 12 double rooms are all in very good condition and very clean.Our room even had insect screens on the windows, but I don't know if that's the case in all rooms.The house was previously operated as a hotel-restaurant, so there are two large rooms that can easily accommodate 30 people each. Crockery, cutlery, glasses, everything is available in sufficient quantities.In the kitchen there is a 6-burner gas stove, a gastro-dishwasher, a gastro-coffee machine, kettle, oven...everything has been thought of.Pool table, table football and games collection ensure that there is no chance of boredom.Outside there is a barbecue with covered seating. The house is completely alone, without any neighbors, and with sufficient parking spaces.You can go on beautiful hikes in the area, and cycling is also no problem.Tip: If you search on Google Maps for nearby shops to get groceries, Maps shows a 25-minute drive away.THAT'S NOT TRUE!!!It's 5 minutes by car to Kalterherberg.There is a small supermarket, a branch of the Moss bakery, and a drinks store.You can pre-order from the bakery and pay in advance, then it's quick to pick up in the morning.At the Schmitz drinks store you can have the boxes delivered to your car and even have the option of buying supplies until Saturday evening after ordering by phone.All in all it was a very nice weekend at Gut Heistert, nothing was missing.We'd love to come back!

Spent a whole week in the house. Very good. Everything works as it should. If something goes wrong, the owners are there quickly to help.The surroundings are incredibly beautiful and the house is easy to reach.

We were there with a group of almost 30 people from October 24th, 2022 to October 28th, 2022. The house, located away from the village, is a top address for larger groups, even with children and animals (charges apply). The house and the entire property are very well maintained and offer great opportunities to develop. The rooms were very clean and had everything necessary. The lounge and the “cellar bar” were perfect with billiards and table football as well as the open fireplaces. The kitchen with large appliances is well designed for the group size. The covered barbecue area with plenty of seating was great (it rained heavily on our big barbecue evening). Nothing got wet. The house is a great starting point for hikes as there is direct access to the hiking trails. There are also sufficient covered parking spaces. The landlords were always available to answer any questions. We had an absolutely great stay, also thanks to the Eifel sunshine during this time.
