The Hotel Döllnsee Schorfheide offers an idyllic location on Lake Dölln, surrounded by the untouched nature of the Schorfheide/Chorin biosphere reserve. The 126 stylishly furnished rooms and suites guarantee a comfortable stay. Particularly noteworthy are the sauna with panoramic windows and the indoor pool with a pleasant 29 degrees, which invite you to relax. Another smaller sauna is available indoors by the pool. The “Cottage” restaurant serves regional specialties. The breakfast but also the buffet in the evening are highly recommended. Rowing boats are available for active guests to explore the surrounding area. A perfect place for relaxation and enjoyment of nature!

The hotel has improved significantly. We were back in Schorfheide after a long time and booked the Hotel Döllnsee again after several years. The rooms have been upgraded very well. A minibar and HDMI port have been added. The beds are no longer as rock hard as they used to be.The breakfast has a good selection for meat eaters as well as vegetarians. There is vegan butter for vegans, but relatively little else. Of course you can argue about the taste, but I've eaten some things better in terms of taste. The orange juice has the same aftertaste as gasoline smells. Dinner is still overpriced, but you have the choice between Ala Card and buffet. For children, I would definitely recommend the buffet for €19, as you can definitely eat them there. €38 for the evening buffet for adults is of course very expensive, but in my opinion it's still worth it, especially for vegetarians, as there are only a few vegetarian dishes on the menu. The swimming pool is a bit brave at 1.60 meters deep, as many people can probably only stand on tiptoes. But it has a pleasant temperature and there is a kind of bench at the edge of the pool, which makes it easier to stand there. I would like to thank the local team for their efforts. We'd love to come back.

Service very nice and location great.Some food not so goodRoom, well, probably from the nineties.Bathroom with shower curtain. Bathtub with a higher level and a short shower hose and broken tiles underground...The fan in the bathroom is constantly running despite being switched off.A night's sleep looks different. Therefore only 2 stars.

So beautifully enchanted and picturesque! I have never discovered this location anywhere else. The service, the employees, everyone was courteous. But running down to Lake Döllnsee at 6 a.m. in a bathrobe and swimming in the morning mist tops everything.

I wasn't in the hotel to relax myself, but just outside. (did a small day tour). A great area with lots of forest. Nice air there, and you can also swim in Lake Döllner.

It's best to book shortly before your planned arrival. The current prices are €60-70 lower despite the early bird discount.The indoor sauna is a bad joke. Tiny and no coziness. The room in front looks like a former kitchen, very sterile. There is no relaxation room. Overall, the term wellness is misleading here.

What should be highlighted is the breakfast buffet, which is very rich and leaves nothing to be desired.Unfortunately, that's it for the positive reviews, as the negative ones outweigh the negative ones.Starting with the reception, where we were greeted rather unfriendly. (from an older lady)Further in the bathroom in the room we lived in....not enough storage space, no socket, the plug in the bathtub is leaking, the fittings are calcified, black joints and the toilet (drain) is in an unsightly condition....Furthermore, there are no free sockets in the room, completely dirty windows inside and out, not to mention the fly screen, the minibar with empty contents and not really cooled, stains on the carpet, etc. (4 stars???)The evening buffet is a matter of opinion, but in my opinion it is not justified for this price. Alternatively, if you just want a little something, you don't really have much choice on the menu.I can't comment on the pool and saunas.I expect a lot more from a 4 star hotel and I know it differently.

We spent 2 days here and are thrilled with the friendliness, the service and the absolute cleanliness of the entire hotel. In the wellness area we made extensive use of the pool and the indoor sauna, and there is also a bathhouse with a sauna by the lake.Despite the fact that there were a lot of guests staying here at the same time, the restaurant team had everything under control, no delays, no loss of quality in the food and were always friendly and accommodating. And the à la carte meal was the highlight of the second evening, TOP and fair price.The booking system is very clear and easy to use, you can also download a hotel information sheet with a map, which was very helpful for us.We'll be back!

We had nice weather and visited the sauna and bathed in the lake. That was just great. We also really enjoyed the hike around the lake. It is beautifully situated in nature and can enjoy peace and quiet.The breakfast was very good, but there were still some reserves when it came to warm food. The vegetables were a bit fried and actually there should have been artichokes on my plate, but there were probably all of them, instead the cook chose zucchini. Should be told in advance if the product is sold out. The meat was super tender and very cooked.

2 p.m., 33 degrees heat. Just wanted to eat a children's plate of pasta bolognese as I only had a small appetite. This meal cost €9.50. But you can get a good lunch menu in Berlin. Since I'm an adult, the same meal would suddenly have cost €21. This only exists in Germany.

Completely incomprehensible how the 4 stars come about??The bathroom was very unkempt with black joints and edges on the fittings which don't work properly and are leaking, the windows are equally dirty inside and out and the fly screen is extremely unappetizing, there are dead flies hanging in the curtains, hardly any sockets etc. - so Certainly not from the room.The slightly older lady at reception was very impersonal and reserved, friendly is different -The design of the dinner is a matter of opinion, but the offerings on the menu for 4 stars are very sparse, and what's more, lunch and... Evening menu listed separately but exactly the same thin offering? - What's that supposed to mean?It urgently needs to be renovated, the whole thing is very outdated, so I know 4 stars completely differently and the prices are not right for this hostel, under no circumstances.Breakfast is very good and impressive.
