MEGA. Perfect for people who need a break. Super cute little guesthouse with so much attention to detail. The rooms are beautiful, each one has a slightly different design... the staircase and the hallways to the rooms are also decorated with a lot of love. and what is always important to me, absolutely clean. We immediately felt at home. I haven't slept so well in a long time. At breakfast we didn't miss anything, everything you needed and what your heart desired was there. A few minutes' walk from the guesthouse is the reservoir with a beach bar where you can just unwind. Or you can rent a bike, etc.Absolutely recommended.LGFrank and Nadine

We were on a short vacation in Bautzen and had discovered this guesthouse online beforehand. As soon as we arrived we were impressed by the external appearance. This should also continue inside. Very nice guesthouse 10 minutes from Bautzen. Each room is furnished with great attention to detail. You can tell that someone has put a lot of thought into this. Since a few rooms were still unoccupied when we arrived, we were allowed to look at them. The contrast with the natural stone walls makes it even more beautiful. Rooms and bathrooms are up to date and very tidy. Breakfast was also very lovingly prepared and plentiful. Staff very friendly and very concerned about the guests' satisfaction. In 14 days we're going on another short vacation to this beautiful accommodation. The reservoir can be reached on foot and the sunsets are particularly worth seeing here. I can only recommend this house to everyone and would love to visit it again and again.

There are enough parking spaces, the breakfast is loving and completely sufficient, the rooms are large and stylishly furnished, the staff and the owner are absolutely friendly and attentive. We had a lovely time in the accommodation and can clearly only recommend it!

A real insider tip, we can only recommend this guesthouse. Old and super modern perfectly coordinated, great attention to detail and really something special. Booked us in with 8 people for 4 nights. All questions were answered in advance to our complete satisfaction.Price and performance are absolutely top. All rooms are of a better standard than some hotels. All rooms are very lovingly furnished. The staff is very friendly and helpful. On the day of arrival, no effort was spared to create space for our 7 motorcycles. The private garage was provided. For all of these amenities, everyone at the Alte Pension deserves more than 5 stars.We can definitely recommend it.

Guesthouse located not far from the motorway. We were there for a weekend. It's really beautiful there. Parking space directly in front of the house. Beautiful garden, including a barrel sauna and relaxation area. The rooms are furnished to a high standard and attention is paid to details when children arrive etc. Really great. Breakfast is also good. We'd love to come back.

Extremely lovingly designed and managed guesthouse. Booked quite spontaneously and at short notice. We felt very comfortable, breakfast was more than sufficient. Room has charm and flair, is highly recommended.Proximity to the city and reservoir is advantageous, and many things can also be reached on foot.We'd love to come back.

Beautiful hotel, with very friendly service, good facilities and something to marvel at in every corner.We were very happy with our room (category 2).The room was large and well equipped, perfect for 2 people. A larger closet for storage would have been nice, but there were other ways to store things, so that's not a big drawback. The bathroom and walk-in shower were also nice and big and the underfloor heating was nice and pleasant.What is very positive to mention is the cleanliness.No matter whether it's the room, the stairwell, the breakfast room, there's not a speck of dust anywhere. Everything is very well maintained.The furnishings are modern, but there are accents of “GDR furnishings” everywhere. We discovered something new every day.Everything fits together wonderfully.Everyone on site is friendly and accommodating.The breakfast offers a great selection and is really satisfying for €10 per person.The guesthouse is in a quiet location and the reservoir is 5 - 10 minutes away.The motorway entrance is about 5 minutes away and the town center of Bautzen is also less than 10 minutes by car.All in all, a successful stay, the price-performance ratio was absolutely top and we would recommend the "Alte Pension" at any time, regardless of whether you are traveling alone, on a weekend trip, with a family, with a couple, on a longer vacation...
