The accommodation is extremely well maintained and is in an absolute top location. Anyone who appreciates peace and a fantastic view will get their money's worth here. The integrated sauna and whirlpool in particular ensure relaxation and make every return a little highlight.

Beautiful holiday home in a fantastic location – absolute recommendation!Our stay at the Wendelinus holiday home was simply fantastic! As soon as we arrived, we were thrilled by the idyllic location and the inviting charm of the house. The accommodation is not only extremely well maintained, but also furnished with great attention to detail. The rooms are bright, spacious and offer everything you need for a relaxing holiday.We were also impressed by the surroundings: the holiday home is in a quiet location, but still close to excursion destinations and hiking trails, which makes it ideal for nature lovers and active holidaymakers. The hosts were also extremely friendly and helpful, which made the stay even more pleasant. The Käppelehof restaurant opposite should definitely be visited and is highly recommended.We felt completely at home and would recommend the Wendelinus holiday home at any time. It is the perfect retreat for anyone looking for peace and relaxation, but still wants the opportunity to explore the beautiful region. An absolute insider tip!

We had a great vacation in the upstairs apartment.The apartment is superbly furnished, the pool, the sauna and the great view are something very special.There is also a washing machine (with detergent) and dryer, the kitchen is perfectly equipped, flour, sugar and spices are available. Dishwasher tabs and kitchen roll are also there.Small children have also been taken into consideration (toys, high chair, travel cot).However, it should be noted that at least the upper apartment “Hohenlochen” is completely open except for the lower bedrooms and the stairs pose a danger, especially for beginners.

Super nice modern apartment with a view of the valley. Everything you need is there. For a good meal you only need to walk a few meters and you are in a busy restaurant. Table reservation is an advantage.What might be nice would be a privacy screen from the whirlpool. Sometimes when the restaurant is busy, the cars park quite close. That's a bit disturbing.But all in all a really nice apartment and highly recommended.

We stayed for 10 days (11-7 to 20-7) in the Hohenlochen holiday apartment. That is the top apartment for 6 people. You have 2 floors.It was, in one word, fantastic!!! What a beautiful, luxurious and large apartment. The three of us stayed here (2 adults and our 14 year old son). Everything you need and could wish for is available. Even a washing machine and dryer. And then your outdoor area: A very nice balcony with a small seating area and a beautiful view and then also a large terrace (artificial grass and real grass) with garden furniture with a large floating parasol, jacuzzi and outdoor sauna and 2 sun loungers. And with a breathtaking view. The house is really located up in the mountains with only a small chapel next to you and a fantastic restaurant, which will cause you absolutely no inconvenience. You can eat delicious food there. And for the rest, peace, quiet, nature and enjoyment.And then the owners Markus and Lara. What hospitable and helpful people they are. Always willing to answer questions, they came to welcome us and if you miss something or there is something, just ask them, they are really there for you. What sweet and beautiful people.We really had an amazing holiday, enjoyed it so much and really relaxed.If you like the mountains, peace, nature and luxury, then this is really the place, here you can really relax and those views... they never bore you!!!We will definitely come back!!!!

A perfect getaway in the heart of the Black Forest!Our stay at Ferienhaus Wendelinus was absolutely delightful. A true gem in the tranquil Black Forest, the holiday home offers both peace and luxury. The house itself is spacious, immaculately clean and beautifully decorated to make you feel right at home.A highlight was the private sauna - a perfect way to relax after a day of exploring the stunning surroundings. The pool was equally amazing, offering a refreshing escape with breathtaking views of the lush forest. Whether we were relaxing by the pool or enjoying a cozy evening by the fireplace, every moment felt special.The location is ideal for nature lovers, with plenty of hiking trails and charming villages nearby. Yet the property is secluded enough to offer complete privacy and tranquility.The hosts were incredibly warm and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We highly recommend Ferienhaus Wendelinus and are already looking forward to our next visit!

We have already spent a wonderful break in the Wendelinus holiday apartment for the second time. We felt very comfortable again. The silence, the view, the whirlpool, the sauna and especially the equipment of the holiday apartment are all great. You immediately feel at home, everything is in great condition, clean and well maintained. What we particularly noticed was that there were some improvements compared to last time. The owner obviously takes the criticism and suggestions for improvement to heart. There is now a nice privacy screen in the shower area in the upper bathroom, a new whirlpool cover, new garden furniture, outdoor shower, new deck chairs, new sofa, etc. The accommodation is absolutely recommended and the price-performance ratio is great. We'll definitely be back.

Beautiful holiday home with a great view and very nice hosts who are available to help and advise.The upper apartment is particularly impressive. This is nice and bright and open.The only drawback: the only shower in the upper apartment is in the middle of the bedroom.(It wasn't a big deal for us since we had both apartments. So there was rarely a shower jam.)We (4 couples) definitely feel very comfortable and are enjoying the last days of our vacation.Thanks!

Just the thing for a short vacation. Great hiking trail, great view and a super nice, newly furnished apartment with four beds. Unfortunately I couldn't heat my lasagne in a microwave, so only four out of five stars 😉

A great holiday apartment in a great scenic location. Right next to the holiday apartment there is a guesthouse “Käppelehof” where you can eat great. Beautiful hiking trails of varying lengths right in front of the house. The apartment is well equipped with everything you need. Instead of a coffee machine there is a Senseo machine. There are enough pads available. Whirlpool in front of the door is great with a view of the valley. Otherwise there is only nature here. To Hausach, next town, approx. 4.5 km.The only disadvantage: the 2nd bedroom with a double bed is very narrow. It's hard to get in and out of bed. OK for children, rather difficult for adults.

Very nice apartment, well equipped and the whirlpool was great! We can recommend it with a clear conscience.The only drawback.. Unfortunately, the mattress in one room was probably a spring core mattress and you could feel every spring when you slept..

Booked a spontaneous short break and are thrilled with the accommodation and the “hostel father” Markus. The contact via SMS was very matter-of-fact and warm. On the day of arrival he came over to greet us and ask how we felt. The spontaneous invitation for a beer, a short chat... like between good friends.The apartments are very modern and clean. Whirlpool and infrared sauna offer wellness at a high level. For those who don't want to believe my report without finding a fly in the ointment and find even a vacation without complaining stupid... yes, there is this no-go, this mistake that destroys a wonderful vacation. .... There was no big long bread knife....we actually had to cut the delicious bread from Rammsteiner Hof with a small bread roll knife 😏😂....never again 😂Have fun...we'll be back in summer or late summer. Unfortunately, the Kaeppelehof inn right next door is currently closed for renovation. Markus Bruder runs this location with a beautiful view of the valley. In summer, after a lovely, active day, first in the whirlpool and then a snack and Kettelerweizen in the beer garden...we're looking forward to it....Less than an hour after our review was published, Markus's niece came and brought us a bread knife 😂😂😂😂how cool is that... Team Markus you are awesome

A wonderful place if you are looking for peace and relaxation. We - three friends and I - stayed at the Wendelins holiday home in November and it was just great. Nature, peace and a well-equipped holiday apartment with sauna and whirlpool. Both the apartment and the outdoor area are furnished with great attention to detail and you immediately feel very comfortable. For those who don't feel like cooking, there is a good home-style restaurant right next door. Very tasty at fair prices. We'll definitely come back.

We were looking for a little break and booked this beautiful holiday apartment. Everything was very clean, modern and perfectly equipped. The absolute highlight was the heated whirlpool on the terrace and the barrel sauna. Great hiking trails in the area. Another highlight was the bathtub in the room. Simply beautiful - you can relax very well here. We'll definitely be back!

What a beautiful house, unexpected luxury, clean and very beautifully finished. We had a wonderful week in this house and this area. The owner is very service-oriented and that makes it great.We enjoyed the bubble bath, the sauna, the large television, the beautiful kitchen and of course the view. We did not experience any problems with the apartment below due to the solid construction and the distance.The house is located at the end of a valley in a beautiful location. The restaurant opposite does not cause any inconvenience and was a nice addition to a week of relaxation for us. Delicious food, nice people and very close.The people in the area are generally very friendly, the landscape is phenomenal and this whole experience makes us want to come back again!!!
