We spent the weekend with the Mayer family at the Vollmershof and had a very nice time there. Our children loved the cats (and kittens) and were allowed to help feed the animals on the farm every evening. There is a small playground and many vehicles for the children. It is very quiet and idyllic, we really enjoyed it. We were greeted and received by the daughter. We received excursion tips from Mr. Mayer and overall we felt very comfortable. We'd love to come back :)

I can't understand the good reviews. We were greeted very distantly by Mr. Mayer. Ms. Mayer, with whom I had very nice telephone contact, was absent for several weeks. Unfortunately. At first our refrigerator didn't work, so Mr. Mayer had to come and check on us. Very reluctantly, as you could tell. That same evening, two large charcoal grills were lit under our balcony because the family below us who rented the apartment was having a party. The smoke and the smell were unbearable. We couldn't sit on the balcony or open a window. We didn't say anything because a celebration is a nice thing and we've never complained anywhere. Unfortunately, the next day a wood-fired grill was left on the entire day. And used again in the evening. Then I called Mr. Mayer. He simply said that the wood stove in their house also smelled and that it wasn't that bad. From then on we were treated with disrespect and no longer greeted us. On the day of departure, no one said goodbye to us. We have never experienced anything like this anywhere. I had never experienced such a feeling of being absolutely unwanted before. The apartment was only tidy at first glance. A tear in the curtain, stains on the sofa, moldy rubber seals in the shower, dirt under the bed and sofa. This certainly has something to do with the absence of the landlady. But I thought it was a shame for us. Good thing the weather and the surroundings were nice. Never again .

It was so incredibly beautiful!!!!!!The owners are very warm and super nice to children! We had a small, clean holiday apartment with a large balcony where the afternoon sun shined. Two "mountain streams" flow in front of the house, and a donkey calls every now and then. The valley is bright and slightly cooler - perfect in summer! There are cows and donkeys roaming the huge pastures, and every now and then a deer :)Bread roll service is offered and you can order fresh rolls or bread every day.The valley has no cell phone reception, which is very pleasant - there is WiFi in the apartments.Every day we and our daughter (2 years old) were able to help feed the animals (rabbits, goats, chickens, donkeys...) and move freely around the farm and with the animals.Thank you for the unforgettable time with you 🤗

We stayed in Holz Iglu Fuchs for four nights at the start of October and it was perfect: so quiet and peaceful. The cabin was spotlessly clean, with comfortable beds, and the views were amazing. The ideal place for complete relaxation.
