I was cycling on Westweg and stopped there. Friendly staff, everything for the cyclist was there. Really great! Room was good, but only three stars because the room faced the street and it didn't get quiet until around 1 a.m. Be sure to ask about the location of the room! The breakfast was very rich and tasty. I can't say anything about the restaurant because I ate elsewhere.

4 of us stayed here for 3 nights in July, great location, rooms we comfortable, food in the hotel was good. Staff very welcoming.|Use of the garage to park our motorbikes was appreciated.|Breakfast was plentiful. |Would book again.|thank you.

I thought for a long time whether I should write a review because I often have the impression that a bad review is written "quickly". But after four weeks I'm still annoyed, so I decided to do it.About six weeks ago I tried to reserve a room for an overnight stay. First I called and a very nice lady advised me to use the contact form so that she could have all the details in writing straight away. No sooner said than done. I didn't hear back for a week and called again one morning. This time I had a nice gentleman on the phone who remembered the email and promised to send the confirmation that evening.There was no confirmation. I then wrote another email with the data, this time not via the contact form, but directly by email. ... no reaction. I couldn't reach anyone by phone either.Ultimately, I "cancelled" the unconfirmed booking with a heavy heart as we are part of a wedding party that wanted to check in here.Unfortunately, I didn't get a response to this email either.Very, very unfortunate.

We were on our bikes on the Gravel Crossing Nature Park and were allowed to check in at the Hecht for one night. And wow - it was a great short stay! Huge room, gigantic bathroom - I could even have taken a bath - very friendly, uncomplicated service, bikes safe in the garage, great breakfast, fantastic dinner in a very cozy yet stylish atmosphere. By far the best accommodation on our tour. A big thank you for the great hospitality!

Unfortunately I didn't book a room...but I've already been to the inn for dinner three times...every meal was just so tasty...the service was so friendly...the atmosphere was so friendly and nice...I'll definitely be here during my stay in Wolfach, we can gather strength and energy for further difficult times at the Gasthaus Hecht!!!

You have to visit it during carnival, all full of people partying, eating, drinking and playing the trombone. You sleep well even though it seems like all of the above would make it impossible.

We eat here regularly because our mum lives in Wolfach and we grew up there. The food is always to die for... meat, soups, salads etc. are excellent!!! Absolutely recommended!!! 👍😍😋

If you find yourself in Wolfach, this hotel is an absolute MUST for your stay. It's a charming, family-owned establishment that exudes coziness (sehr gemütlich). The owners, a husband and wife, are truly exceptional. Everything from the restaurant, breakfast, rooms, to the pricing, is exceptionally good. It's one of those quaint, historic gems you might have read about in books or seen in movies. I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to Frau Stadler for making my stay so memorable and enjoyable.

On our Germany Trip in 2018 we discovered this beautiful restaurant and had several outstanding meals there. So on our trip in Sept. this year we included a stop in Wolfach just to have a dinner again at the Hecht Restaurant. Oh man, we were not disappointed and it was all worth it. The Food is so great that we will remember this place forever and will go back over and over again. The Chef of the Hecht Restaurant deserves a Michelin Star and the service is outstanding. Thank you for such a wonderful Dinner!

Next time I'll choose a room on the side facing away from the street. And I'm coming back because I appreciate the good atmosphere and because the location on the Neckar cycle path suits my needs very well.
