This week we were in the youth hostel with a total of 60 children for 2 nights in the school camp. I would definitely recommend traveling by bus, then the accommodation is in a great location next to the forest and offers a lot of potential for programs and forest walks.The hostel manager, Irene Köhler, was really nice and accommodating, as were all the other employees. We were particularly pleasantly surprised by the food, always freshly prepared and tasty, with a vegetarian option.The rooms are in a youth hostel and not in a hotel, but everything was clean and served the purpose. The children would have preferred to spend more time in their rooms ;)We were able to use all the rooms and approach the staff with our concerns.We'd love to come back!

The food was just wormy, it smelled so bad and the owner was screaming. I would recommend the old lady to speak more calmly and respectfully

There was a worm in the food + there was a not so pleasant smell in the youth hostel. I would be happy if this was fixed. The owner shouted about everything being so bad there

My daughter came home today completely distraught. When she told me this, I immediately had to write a review. Honestly unbelievable. She has two bed bug bites and was there with her school. Among other things, a worm was found in the food and a hair the next day. The best part was that she was asked not to write a review, as was everyone else in the class.As a mother, I'm just totally disappointed because I thought my child was in good hands!

As a student, it was terrible because we had bed bugs after a week there and wasn't that bad enough? The food was terrible. The rooms were dirty. There were clothes lying there that didn't belong to us. The food was partly undercooked. Our lunch was far too little. And that Mattresses were very, very uncomfortable, the showers were very small and there isn't even a window in there but there is a nice outside area

My son was there last week catastrophe he is traumatized he was yelled at not to drink so much and with the weather last week there was mold in the room everything was broken showers food mold expired mattresses bloody and bed bugs staff unfriendly to the children the school camp is closed!!! !!!!!!! Disaster just no star and thank you for my son coming back like that

Unfortunately one star is too many, the beds were very dirty, these hostel owners were very unfriendly, we won't recommend it, not to mention the mold problem in the bathroom should be fixed. Oh and the children drank tap water in the room because they had something on to take with you. The accommodation costs would have to be reimbursed for the dirty rooms

My son was there this week, you should think about tearing it down or doing a thorough renovation, they also handed out expired muesli bars to the children and last but not least we get the message that the children …

Our child had been in the youth hostel for a week and was really disappointed. The room was dirty, the food didn't taste good (hard pasta, old sausage), the shower was broken and as a "thank you" we brought lots of bed bug bites (now confirmed). Sad, it was supposed to be a nice week.

My son was there this week, you should think about tearing it down or doing a thorough renovation, they also handed out expired muesli bars to the children and last but not least we get the message that the children have brought bed bugs with them, that's really bad, so think about whether you're there stay overnight or send your children there

Hello, I was in the school camp for a week but then today we got a message that there were bed bugs in the bed, the blankets had periods, blood, the room was dirty, the sink was broken, so I'm sorry but please take care of it 💀

Super nice hostel mother... I was too exhausted after a six-hour drive to go home. She actually had a full house and no room for me at all... She still found a folding bed somewhere and a secluded corner where I was allowed to spend the night. Thank you! 😀

I was on a school trip with my class at the youth hostel. The rooms were clean but you can't praise the food so much. There was a hair in the milk and there was mold on the bread. I don't recommend it.

My son was on a school trip to this youth hostel and felt very comfortable. He thought the food was delicious and the team there was very nice. The beds in the triple room were also super comfortable. In 15 minutes you can reach Walldürn with many shops and cafés. A clear recommendation!!!
