A real dump. The smell when you enter the room says it all. The facility looks a lot like bulky waste. Totally tattered and worn out. We don't even need to talk about cleanliness. I decided to sleep in the car instead. They should be ashamed.

In itself a clean guesthouse. Unfortunately, various booking portals create false expectations: in reality there is no breakfast, no ATM, no hairdresser and no shuttle service. There is also no lounge or bar, but there is a shared bathroom/toilet. Be more honest and you'll get more positive reviews because it's clean and the boss is nice. It's not a hotel, but a simple guesthouse. And as such everything is good.

Great location in Eichsfeld, idyllically located on the Wipper, pure peace and quiet. The welcome was also warm. Unfortunately, instead of the double room we booked, we got a small room with 2 separate beds 🙁, it was ok for 1 night, but next time we would like to stay in a different room.

Unfortunately the service was very unfriendly. No precise statements were made upon departure. The cleanliness of the rooms leaves a lot to be desired. There were grease films on the furniture, spider webs everywhere and unfortunately it wasn't vacuumed and the bed linen and towels weren't washed either. When we asked the staff why the rooms hadn't been cleaned, we were told "those who complain to them look worse." Also when it came to the departure dates, we were told that the departure was around the afternoon, but an exact time was not given. On the day of departure we were knocked out of our rooms at 10 a.m. and told that we should please leave.Unfortunately we didn't get a password for the WiFi. Drinking was also not provided.Not recommended!!!

Well for a short overnight stay it's ok. We stayed there for one night. We had an apartment on the first floor, it was almost unbearably warm and we could hardly sleep because the window unfortunately had to remain closed because of the mosquitoes. A fly screen in front of the window wouldn't have been bad, then the window could at least stay open overnight when it cools down a bit in the summer. The reception was friendly and informed us about the surrounding area. Everything is then settled in the entrance area. Otherwise the room was functionally furnished, very very soft mattresses, our little grandson could sleep better on the extra bed. Separate bathroom, well that's how it works, the shower was in the tub, but it wasn't age-appropriate, the tub entry was high!! Otherwise, parking space in front of the accommodation. Conclusion: It's fine for an overnight stay, otherwise there really isn't much to see in the town, apart from the large bear park nearby and the old town of Worbi.

We used the accommodation as a stopover on our trip to the western town "Pullman City Harz".Anyone who expects a 4 or 5 star hotel for little money is in the wrong place. We are talking about very cozy accommodation in a country house style. The host family tries very hard to please all visitors and to keep the old house in order. A great homemade breakfast is also available in the morning.Hats off to you for so much attention to detail for really little money.With its proximity to the Harz Mountains, the house is a nice place for nature lovers to stay overnight.The location in Worbis is also very good. There are good places to eat, shopping and a large playground within walking distance. This was of course ideal for us as a small family with a 2.5 year old son. We would also be happy to come back and would be happy to recommend the Schwenteck family’s “An der Uferpromenade” house.

The next time we visit Worbis we will look for somewhere else to stay. But what put me off is that the toilet was in the hallway. Bathroom wasn't clean. It was dusty. Only public channels were shown on TV. We didn't get breakfast. The beds were way too soft. Cheap bed linen cover. And we had ordered a double room and had two separate beds. There was a strong smell of air freshener in the entrance and there was a strong smell upstairs. When I laid down in bed for the first time, it smelled like the bed linen hadn't been washed or had been sprayed with way too much perfume. Despite everything, they were both very friendly. But as I said, we wouldn't go there again.

The bathroom is in the hallway, opposite the room. It has no heating, just an electric heater from GDR times above the sink. Even though we didn't want breakfast, we had to pay for it and were compensated with a very poor bottle of wine. The room was very small, a bit dirty, the owner at the reception was very unfriendly.
