This is probably the best option if you want to live centrally in Nordhausen. Good room and very good breakfast. A big minus because the reception is not staffed late in the evening.

The building has become very beautiful; I still remember it from earlier years. I can't judge what it looks like inside since I haven't seen it. I really like the parking garage with the single room and I hope that you get a lot of customers for overnight stays. 😊💐🌺👍👍

Really lovely, comfortable hotel with a 1920's theme from an area that was part of East Germany before Germany was unified. We had a very pleasant stay and the breakfast was magnificent.|Not sure what people do in the town but we were only stopping for the one night as we travelled across Germany and this area was our halfway point.

Located directly opposite the train station. Very friendly service and very attentive. We slept with the window open that night, it was very quiet. The breakfast was excellent. Everything your heart could desire. You can drink your coffee there very comfortably. The only drawback was the guest who said he was talking loudly on the phone in the hotel hallway. A short announcement and it was wonderfully quiet again.

Overall, a very nice, quiet hotel, but you feel a bit judged by some colleagues there through comments and behavior.I would recommend a cheaper hotel if you don't need luxury.

The concept of the hotel is quite nice - it is 1920s style, as is the attached restaurant on the ground floor.Unfortunately, the maintenance is poor, walls are dirty, air conditioning doesn't work. Unfortunately, the neighboring construction site doesn't contribute to the whole thing in a positive way, because without air conditioning with open windows, being woken up by construction machinery at around 6:45 a.m. isn't all that pleasant. The service is also rather poor; the food at "Charlie's" initially makes a good impression - but it is also disappointing. To be honest, the hotel is overall "okay", but it does not correspond to the prices advertised and the upscale external presentation.I would like to positively highlight the housekeeping and Mr. L from the reception - unfortunately the other employees were absolutely not service-oriented.

We had booked one night at the Nordhäuser Fürstenhof and were able to check in on time. However, it was around 30°C that day and the rooms had no air conditioning to make the temperature a little more comfortable. So we slept with the windows open next to Bahnhofstrasse, where there was a lot of noise and at around 5:30 a.m. the garbage collector and a man with a leaf blower were already doing his work. The tram couldn't be ignored either. We also only had one set of towels, which was of course rather inconvenient when showering after a 30°C day. I then took the facial towel after I showered. Of course I could have had a second set of towels, but when I receive guests as a hotel, I first check how many guests are renting the room! And last but not least, something for breakfast. I think the price for the room without breakfast at “booking” is quite a reasonable price. If I order the same room but with breakfast for 2 people it costs €50 - €60 more without any problems!!If it had been a Sheraton, Radisson or Hyatt, I would have expected a little more for the money. However, this was a "normal" breakfast, where I would have expected either more choice for the money, or a slightly less exorbitant markup when booking the hotel for what you got at breakfast!
