At schnitzel days you actually expect a special menu with schnitzels and not just two pages with little choice on the menu. Unfortunately there are no alternatives to the schnitzels. I also think the price of €19.70 is extremely excessive for a country inn for normal-sized pork schnitzel. In addition, the quality is average. Unfortunately, the fried potatoes are very fatty but not fried much.Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio here is not right, especially for a rural region.

Room was clean. Breakfast OK .. had a room at the back (quiet). Host will thaw if you talk a little. Priced at 102 euros for two people is fair.

2020 (corona year)My wife and I came to Erfde via a detour. We were greeted very friendly, the food was very tasty and the innkeeper is still very happy to be the innkeeper there. Anyone who has been to Lührs will definitely come back, and so will we!2024 (Middle of life)True to the motto "if you've been to Arf once, you'll always come back." . .. . . We also visited Jan in August 2024. Went to the schnitzel and ribs buffet. Unfortunately not what we expected. Tk schnitzel and ribs black and without bbq sauce. That for 24.50Fried potatoes were delicious.The rest is very expandable. Disappointing for a country inn.

I would advise against anyone ordering food. We ordered chicken schnitzel with fried potatoes etc.It was underground. Instead of breaded schnitzel, there were dry steaks without marinade. The fried potatoes couldn't have been more lovely. The mixed salad was nicely marinated with the ready-made dressing so that it was nice and mushy. Any school child would have done it better. Remo was mayo with cream and coarsely chopped onions and cucumbers. No parsley in it, just carelessly finished. The pizzas were either in a can or in a jar. No sign of expert craftsmanship.Freshness was definitely missing.For €17.90 per person. A proud price.I wouldn't order from there again. We wanted to treat ourselves to something and we really fell for it. It's worth turning on the grill and it would have been cooler.Well that was my experience with the inn. I advise everyone to do it themselves or find a decent chef, butcher or inn.Oh and there isn't even a receipt from the cash register. Just a handwritten note. There will probably be a black bill.Please do yourself a favor and go to sensible innkeepers. The owner is a disgrace to the profession.
