A very nice youth hostel. The room was clean. We booked the family break. The staff was super friendly and helpful.The food was very balanced. There was always a veggie alternative for lunch and dinner. Some dishes were partly prepared on site and organic.The location is very centrally located. You can quickly get to the beach.We can highly recommend this youth hostel.

A great youth hostel. The people are super friendly, the rooms are nice and big. The dinner and breakfast were very tasty. So we liked it. We had two rooms and stayed here as a family with friends and children.

Our stay at the youth hostel was simply fantastic! My wife, our two sons and I enjoyed every minute.From the first greeting we immediately felt welcome. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to help us with a smile. The atmosphere in the hostel was warm and welcoming, exactly what we wanted for a family vacation.The rooms were clean, comfortable and perfectly suited to our family's needs. Our sons loved the comfortable beds and the great view from our window. The rich breakfast buffet is particularly noteworthy - there was a large selection of fresh and delicious dishes that both us adults and the children enjoyed.The location of the youth hostel is ideal. We were able to go on many trips and explore the surrounding area without having to travel long distances. Our children also really appreciated the leisure activities directly in the hostel, such as the volleyball courts, table tennis, football pitch and free board games that were available to borrow.All in all, our stay at the youth hostel was a complete success. We felt completely comfortable and will definitely come back. Many thanks to the entire team for this unforgettable time!

I would actually have given it four stars, but the fact that I ended up paying €90 (!!) per night in a bunk bed without a private bathroom with my three-year-old daughter left a bad aftertaste; also that it was noisy until 11 p.m. in the evening (I ultimately had to demand a night's rest from those responsible). Of course, not everything is perfect in a youth hostel and that's exactly what makes it so charming, but the price was completely excessive and is at hotel level. Price-performance ratio wasn't right, especially in comparison to the Westerland youth hostel, for example.

Beautiful youth hostel with a spacious outdoor location, not far from the center and the dike, where you can take a nice walk along the North Sea.The rooms in the youth hostel are also spacious and friendly. There are plenty of opportunities to retreat without having to go into the room.The breakfast is very varied and delicious.

The youth hostel is very quiet on the edge of Tönning. The staff and service are very friendly, helpful and make many things possible, e.g. grill, thank you very much. Unfortunately, the rooms are getting old and don't have a shower (a shame) but everything is very clean. . Breakfast is rich and also suitable for people with allergies. It is very commendable to mention that there is no pork/beef cold cuts, only poultry. There is also very tasty home-made jam from the region. There are also many beautiful items directly from the region at the kiosk. This youth hostel is not only very exciting and educational for children. A lot is done here for the environment and nature and is clearly presented (everything about animals in the mud flats and the North Sea, insects, etc.). Also highly recommended for bed and bike because of the beautiful surroundings. You also get a code so you can get in later. All in all, I can highly recommend the youth hostel.Thank you very much, anytime again.

The double bunk beds were difficult to access via the ladder. Otherwise the rooms were well equipped. With toilet 🚽, shower 🚿 and washing facility at the sink.

What can you write about it... It's a youth hostel... The team is really nice. And it is certainly a good starting point for various excursions.

Well located JH, free parking spaces, WiFi everywhere, rooms clean but not very comfortable, breakfast very good, dinner not to my taste but good salad buffet. Service friendly and competent. I'd love to come back :-)

Great hostel with clean rooms, cozy atmosphere and helpful staff.It's worth booking breakfast. There are the best pretzel rolls in all of Northern Germany.We will be happy to come back 👍

We were there with family and friends:the facility is clean, comfortable and functionally equipped. The food and the sustainable approach are convincing.Ideal for children and a relaxing holiday for the whole family: a trip to the dike with huge playgrounds and swimming areas, table tennis or volleyball in the yard and, if it rains, an afternoon of games in the foyer in front of the exciting aquarium.A day trip to Multimar is particularly great.We were completely impressed by the relaxed hostel parents who answered every question very warmly.

We had a great stay at the Tönning youth hostel with our three children. We received a warm welcome from the hostel parents and the rooms and bathrooms were in a clean condition. The location of the youth hostel is perfect. It's just a few minutes' walk to the beach and you can also quickly reach great excursion destinations like the Multimar.We will definitely come back. Thank you for the great accommodation.
