The house is beautifully located and has a wonderful garden. Unfortunately, the woman who runs the guesthouse gives you the feeling that she doesn't want to have guests. She was sulky and seemed annoyed. I was warned but this wasn't how I imagined my vacation to be. No recommendation.

Very cozy old house, which is constantly being modernized. The Meyer-Helms/Burmester family are extremely friendly hosts who also maintain a wonderful garden that is available for guests to use. The cleaning staff and those helping in the garden are also very friendly and helpful.There is a great breakfast buffet with home-baked bread, home-smoked salmon, etc. Homemade spread, large selection of sausage, cheese, fish, fruit, yoghurt, jam and muesli.I've enjoyed coming here for years, it's almost a second home.

The first thing you are greeted with is a beautiful garden. The couple is warm. The whole house is clean and tidy. Still very nicely decorated. The rooms are large and clean. Breakfast is continually replenished. There is something for every taste.

I felt very comfortable in the Altes Posthaus and will definitely spend a few days there again. It is a beautiful old building, renovated and furnished with love. Very cozy and surrounded by a beautiful garden! The Old Kurhaus and the beach can be reached in a few minutes on foot.

Very clean nice room. Breakfast is the same every day. But I can live with that. But the boss made me feel unwelcome from the day I arrived. I've never experienced anything so musty on vacation. If you don't like guests, you shouldn't rent. I'm definitely not coming back.

An old post house in a good location. The operators are just as quaint as the building. Quiet and beautifully located. Wooden ceilings which are of course very noisy if you have your apartment downstairs. Which is negative. The smoking area was right next to our room. Smoke drifts into the apartment from under the old, poorly closing doors. Plus, barbecuing right in front of the apartment windows isn't that great either. You shouldn't forget that people go on holiday there and pay money for it. Smoking and grilling should take place at a distance from the guests...

It was nice here. Great breakfast with everything you want. Great garden. 5 minutes to the beach. The best thing: not anti-smoking 👍. Very nice and friendly hostsPark your car under cover and reach everything on foot. Great restaurants in the immediate vicinity. Recommendation: Stellaz BBQ and icing (ice cream) 😋

If you want to enjoy Dangast, you're in good hands here.In April 2022 I was a guest with my wife for four nights. The house is in a great location. Everything is nice and close and yet relaxing and quiet: 80 - 100 m to the beach & the spa house as well as to the town center of Dangast).The five points are for the location, the relaxing garden, the committed couple running the place ("piquant originals with lots of stories from over 70 years") and the great breakfast (lots of homemade, including fantastic nut bread)The rooms are simply furnished. A little noisy, but the charm of the whole ambience made up for it.

The old post house is now a hotel and is located in the old part of Dangast, very close to the Kurhaus.

Beautiful building and lovingly furnished, we really enjoyed our stay! As the name suggests, this is an older house - so you shouldn't expect any modern bells and whistles. The room was simply furnished, but you don't need anything more if you're on vacation by the water. However, it's a bit noisy, but that's par for the course in older buildings. You could sit comfortably in nature outside in the garden, and tea and coffee were available around the clock in the in-house tea kitchen. The hostess gave us local tips upon arrival (thank you again!) and they took good care of you at the breakfast buffet and there was always a contact person on site if needed. We would love to come back and are already looking forward to our next stay!

A great old house. Garden designed with love. Super dear landlords. Rich breakfast with lots of homemade, delicious things, freshly cut fruit, a lot of choice and prepared with love. Large, clean rooms, good bed, new bathroom.I'd love to come back.
