They don't seem to want to have guests here - at least not if they want to book a few months in advance and only for one night because of a planned bike tour. There was no response at all to a booking request via email. When we called, the conversation started with “oh yeah, that story.” When we asked why there wasn't an answer, the reason was "a lot of work" and besides we only wanted to stay one night and it wasn't really worth it.Apparently they don't need that - but then please don't be surprised about a bad rating! You can also handle a polite booking request differently.

The holiday apartment is very cramped on the ground floor in the back building. Due to the surrounding buildings and the orientation of the living room window to the north, the apartment is quite dark, which is probably why it has a musty smell. The toilet with sink is tiny, as is the shower room next to it, both just under 1 square meter each. Fridge starts humming loudly about every 10 minutes. However, the apartment is clean, the pedestrian zone can be reached in just a few steps, and there are parking spaces in front of the house.I think EUR 60 per night for two people is very overpriced.

The guesthouse is centrally located with a view of Plön Castle. Various restaurants and the large Plön Lake are within easy walking distance. The idyllic, quiet street also offers parking facilities. We found comfortable and clean rooms. If you wish, you can have a rich breakfast with fresh bread rolls. We were extremely satisfied and can only recommend the Plöner Hof. We'd love to come back.
