A special culinary experience awaits you when you visit Robert Stolz at Lake Plön.If the group of guests present is as pleasantly composed as in our case, it becomes a real event!Robert Stolz cooks at the highest level, mainly using regional ingredients. The fresh herbs from the nearby castle garden in particular give his dishes a special touch. We chose the non-alcoholic accompaniment that evening. The juices, some of which were made in-house, were well matched to the menu, but also had a “proud” price. The two friendly and unobtrusive service/kitchen staff ensured that the evening ran perfectly. At the end there is still a reference to the garden, which has an impressive bonsai collection that you should have seen.Definitely again!

Coffee trip or star cuisine? We were welcomed in an illustrious circle. We were probably the last ones, but that can happen if you only arrive 5 minutes before your appointment. We must have missed the explanation about the juices and what came before. A quick briefing and what would you like? Ok ok, we didn't read every sentence on the homepage and assumed that you would be welcomed with a drink on the house when the cozy evening was spiced up by a film crew. People were always happy to ask, anything else about this or that, right? Try a wine. No, that doesn't actually work. But exceptionally. Ok, at 11 euros per glass I can understand that. You don't get as much out of the bottle. Short about the wine, harvested early = high yield. It's not always good for the wine, but it's good for the winemaker's wallet. But we're talking about taste and that can be argued. The glass of self-pressed juice costs 9 euros and you get something out of the bottle. Very important for many of the ingredients, it was then immediately explained where they could be purchased and flyers were passed around. The food was good, no question. Whether cool or mega? Hmm - good anyway. Maybe a little too much salt for some people, but that's also a matter of taste. Other guests even asked about it. In short, we felt more like we were on a coffee trip than in a private star restaurant. But it is also consciously sold as an event.

Come in, feel good, take a seat and never want to get up again!Sitting down at Robert's Chef's Table feels like being at home with your best friends. The Nordic clarity that radiates from the rooms is transferred to your own thoughts and mindset in no time and you spend an enjoyable evening in the absolute here and now.The menu. With Grandma, after every course you would have said: “To sit down.” You are tempted to lick the plate with your tongue in order to soak up every last bit of sauce, crumb or herb.In Robert's dishes - the word is actually far too banal for what's on the plate - not only are the flavors perfectly coordinated, but the different consistencies of soft, solid, liquid, crunchy, fresh or crunchy are always found somehow again.And... it's usually worth just booking a seat at the oak table on your own. The other guests are actually always exciting, have at least one of the same hobbies - good food - and this makes the evening even more exciting.I've been to the Eichentisch several times and I'm always happy to come back.

Sitting at Robert Stolz's large oak table once in your life should be a must for every person with taste for whom cooking and enjoyment is a matter of the heart.I will certainly not have enjoyed Robert Stolz's haute cuisine for the last time and will never tire of telling my friends about this great evening on August 25, 2023. The next time you enjoy an outstanding menu that combines freshness and regionality (which Prince's Island offers) with aesthetics and where you can feel the hand of the experienced star chef with every bite through the meticulous coordination of the highest quality ingredients, then perhaps you will also be sitting at the legendary one Oak table – it will be worth it.Without a doubt, I give it five stars!

In short: a perfect evening with outstanding food, a great host with equally great employees and a very special atmosphere.5 stars +The welcome was incredibly warm and we immediately felt very comfortable. You sit down at two long tables, which means you immediately come into contact with the people sitting next to you. From the tables you can look over Robert Stolz's shoulder as he cooks and pick up one or two professional tips. The relaxed atmosphere created a real living room atmosphere.Robert Stolz first briefly explained the aperitifs and then we started with 3 great “snacks” as greetings from the kitchenWOW! (Duck liver, bratwurst, mushroom "risotto") - a perfect start to the evening. Then the actual 6-course gourmet menu began. We chose the wine accompaniment and didn't regret it.Robert Stolz's locally and regionally rooted cuisine is impressive. The patron tells a short story about each dish, names the suppliers and explains the course. You can feel and taste the connection to the north. The creative use of products that you grow yourself or that grow in nature on your doorstep is really fun. All of this paired with a fine play of aromas and a pleasant purity of products is truly star-level cuisine.Dear Robert, dear team, it was a thoroughly inspiring and enjoyable evening. We say THANK YOU VERY MUCH and we will be back.

I've had the great luck and pleasure of being able to enjoy Robert Stolz's "eat share live" twice!Robert is not only such a wonderful host, but above all an absolutely creative top chef who knows a story for every ingredient - everything that ends up on the plate is regional, seasonal and so incredibly delicious and creative. Whether the ingredient comes from a friend's food manufacturer or whether Robert picked the herbs himself at Plön Lake a few hours earlier...Both times I got to know a wide variety of people at the "big oak table" - great concept, I'm already looking forward to the next one Just! Creative top cuisine with heart, brain, attitude and without any conceit!

All courses tasted very good. Robert had some interesting creations on the menu like the potato cooked in beer and brown butter. We will definitely come back again 🙃
