Hello friends.Been on tour again.This time I got stuck in this charming ferry house. I was really lucky.Great employees and a pleasant boss made our stay (3 days) very pleasant.Breakfast, with a view of the Dieksee - lots of greylag geese, seagulls and a surprising number of cormorants - made the impression perfect.One birthday it got a little louder. But that's completely legitimate, as I see it.I had pleasant conversations with the employees and the boss and was given information about the area.We'll probably (very likely) be there again in October.Kind regards from room 11.Your Jo

The ferry house is not only a restaurant, but also a dock for the 5 Lakes cruise. We walked from Malente to here and then took the boat back to the starting point in Plön. It was no problem for the inn to spontaneously accommodate waiting groups of nine participants.

I can't say much about the hotel but it's ideal as a coffee stop on a bike tour. There are comfortable beach chairs on the terrace by the lake and homemade cakes are served with coffee. The view of the lake helps you relax before you continue

Basically very nice to look at. Very nice environment. Nice outside ambience. And apart from the great breakfast in the very nice interior with friendly staff, that's it.We (married couple) booked a double room (No. 016) for 5 nights. First impression was positive, because there are two toilets in two rooms for the double room. In one there was a toilet and the shower, which had a very narrow and high entrance. For older and possibly also slightly physically weak people. restricted. Very difficult to use for people (high risk of falling). When showering, there is a pungent, unpleasant, metallic smell that reeks of rusty water. What's annoying is that after using the toilet you have to go through the adjoining bedroom to the other small bathroom to wash your hands in the rather small basin.On the 4th day I was surprised because it was not possible to take even a lukewarm shower at around 10 p.m. There was only cold water.Conclusion on the hygiene area: Two rooms: one with a shower and a toilet. No hand guard option. Then the second room with a toilet and a mini sink. Without a shower. (Here too, the metallic smell of running water)The first thing I noticed about the room itself was that it wasn't possible to use the save option offered. Cobwebs could be seen and felt in every corner of the room. Unfortunately, these deficiencies and additional points of disgust, which I don't want to mention, were only addressed by me on the second day and were immediately remedied by the staff. Unfortunately, the roller blind in the room no longer works and you can see the people in the room from the parking lot directly below. B. look at it when getting dressed. The cell phone, razor, electric toothbrush and whatever else needed to be charged required repeated physical activity (crawling under the table to change the plug) because there are only three sockets in the room without double plugs. These are used by the TV and two bed lights needed. In the mini bathroom there is only one socket for the mirror light. We mainly booked the accommodation because we were promised that we could charge our electric car at the existing charging station. Unfortunately we were then denied this. Why??? Charging during the day:Yes! at night: No! Since we had a lot of activities with our vehicle during the day, it was a great inconvenience for us to find public charging stations in the nearby area. I would like to conclude my review here, although there is still a lot left to say. (Bedding, friendliness at reception, conflict management, etc.) How the predominantly very good reviews from other guests here come about is a mystery to me. For the price we paid upon arrival, I would expect something different.

After just one night we are leaving again today. The hotel is a failure. The beds were worn out, winter blankets. One pillow is the size of a child's pillow and is filled with feathers, as well as sweat marks and blood on the pillow. Strangers black long hair in bed. There were cobwebs on the ceiling and everything was more or less dusty. Not cleaned in the bathroom. The towel holders are missing and only the metal, rusty, sticks out of the wall. Toothbrush glass holder completely dirty. The shower is so adjacent to the toilet that there is hardly any room for your legs. The grout lines in the shower were dirty. The cars drive past the window 2m away. thoroughfare. The guest room is not nice and the breakfast is clear. Just coffee or tea. No coffee specialties. Gathered the cutlery. The seating outside has also seen better days. The glass tops are missing on the rattan tables. And the rubber nipples are rotting away. We had dinner there yesterday. We wanted a cocktail and the waitress said that last weekend they had a party of 100 people who drank everything.What kind of restaurant is this that can't replenish its inventory by Thursday?!The location behind the house is very nice. Right on the lake. It's a shame that the operators don't do anything about it.

The view and the food are a straight A with stars. Rarely have I eaten such delicious asparagus and enjoyed a beautiful view of the lake.The recommended Pinot Gris was an excellent choice. A friendly and attentive service. Everything is OK in terms of price too.

Stopped for coffee on the bike ride and immediately reserved a table for dinner. Very tasty food with nice service. When the weather is good you can sit outside very well.
