A beautiful and quiet campsite. Ideal for visiting Plön and the surrounding area, good cycle paths.Plots sufficiently large and with electricity.Sanitary facilities clean and in good condition.We were there in May 2024 over Pentecost with our camper van and can recommend the place. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful.Thank you for the pleasant stay.

Quiet, nicely run campsite...but no catering at the moment (which is a shame).Wi-Fi is subject to a fee (unfortunately no longer up to date, as other campsites no longer see Wi-Fi as “additional income” and provide it free of charge (but it wasn’t a problem for us as we were able to do without internet at times)).Sanitary building 3 is getting old and could use a refresher...but it was always clean.Unfortunately, showering costs extra (with a time limit).Reception staff was very polite and accommodating.Conclusion:Anyone who can live with small restrictions will always be in the right place and can enjoy their vacation.

A very quiet place, you just have to remember the barrier times, unfortunately we missed it by 7 minutes and the barrier was closed, but we found an emergency passage

Recommended as a campsite by the lake with a clear conscience. Our children (family of five, three boys, 9 and 6 years old, and 9 months old) who we visited there guarantee us everything a camper's heart desires.

We were guests at Campingpark Ruhleben for 14 days.We are 2 adults and 2 children. Our chosen parking space right at wash house 3 was really nice and extremely spacious. The children and we had a wonderful holiday. The park is located directly on Lake Plön with a beautiful view of Plön Castle.The service at the place is great. There is a small self-service shop, which we liked to use for fresh rolls in the morning.A washing machine and dryer in very good condition are also available for use.The washhouses are all very spacious and clean.We'll definitely be back.LG from Austria

We were there for 4 days and we felt very comfortable. We had a nice, large and quiet pitch with water and electricity on site. The lake was in sight. The sanitary facilities were clean. Plön is only about 10 minutes away by bike. There are many excursion options.Negative: the beach was full of goose droppings, but the campsite operators can't do anything about that.We will definitely come back and take our boat with us.

We stood on the forecourt with the motorhome for three nights. €14 including electricity plus €1 for the shower. Service good and friendly.The place is good and quiet.Since you have to leave the forecourt after three nights, we wanted to move to the campsite. But it cost €35 to €45.We then drove further and found a nice RV site in Eutin.It's about 15 minutes by bike to the city center of Plön. The Edeka is about 5 minutes away by bike. The cash register in the camping shop only works with a scanner and EC.Would love to come back.

Really nice camping site. And very quiet place. Huge lake to swim in. Many different places to go in the lake from. You are welcome to bring your dog, but there is only one place from which you can bathe.Lovely forest just behind the campsite.

We visited the Gut Ruhleben Camping Park for the second time this year with friends and were once again thrilled by the location, the peace and the atmosphere. We were warmly welcomed, the washhouses are checked regularly, the self-service shop has a good, sufficient selection, including bread rolls and the direct location on Lake Plön offers many leisure activities (SUP, swimming, etc.). If you have your bike with you, you'll definitely get your money's worth. We will definitely come back.

We were there for 2 nights, just rest and relax. We had enough space and it was only about 70 meters to the lake. There is electricity on site and there were taps nearby. The sanitary facilities/showers were super clean...I'm really picky about that. There was even a small shop at reception for essentials and washing machines and porpoises. GUT RUHLEBEN is rightly named.

A beautiful campsite with lots of trees and large meadows.- WiFi, 5G is available via O2- Gas testing can be done on site for mobile homes and caravans (notice at the entrance opposite reception) for a great price.- There is a small but well-equipped kiosk (rolls, ice cream, pasta, drinks, sausage, etc.), you scan everything yourself and pay only by card.- The ladies at reception are incredibly nice and helpful.The campsite is right on the lake and you can use the canoe or SUP directly. You can cycle around the lake or take a detour to Eutin. There are bike paths everywhere.Otherwise the place is relatively large, there are long-term campers in the middle, it is next to a naval barracks (which you don't notice), nicely surrounded by large trees.Coins are required for showering, which are available at reception. This allows you to save water. I think it's great!In any case, I'll come back and look forward to it.
