Very beautiful and impressive property. Very good service. The spa area cannot compete with other hotels of this type, especially the pool.

Beautiful place away from the hustle and bustle and perfect for recharging your batteries. The peace and quiet is indescribable, the rooms and the entire complex are really beautiful. Service is perfect here, everyone (employees & guests) were, without exception, nice and helpful.Food and drink in the boathouse and in the Asian bar were always great. We can't say anything about the courtier, but we have heard other guests rave about it.Spa was of course great and with the cultivation everything is spread out really well. For us it is a very special place just outside Hamburg that we always enjoy coming back to. It's nice that we "found" the White House.

Overpriced but nice resort with an egregious restaurant problemWe booked a long weekend to relax for two. Everything looked good online and the reviews were accurate too. What was a bit surprising was the email a few days before arrival, which pointed out that if you wanted to make sure you got something to eat on site in the evening, it was better to make a reservation in advance. Ok, since it's quite far away from any city, we'd better take a look. There are three restaurants, but that sounds neat. But then things got exciting. Gourmet restaurant with €300 no show reservation conditions. Wow. Full of excitement about the card. At around €800 with wine accompaniment, two of the six courses should not be called “My favorite cheese and fruit bread” or “Cherry, black rice and yuzu”. I was also suspicious of the combination of tender scallop, where any gentle seasoning masks the great, mild taste, and strong truffle. Well a matter of taste, but we were out.So boathouse, yes, but fully booked on Friday, fully booked on Saturday, only Sunday there was still a spot available at 6 p.m. And this is completely off season. No show of course €100. You'll be in a good mood if you enter your visa details before you arrive... The last restaurant in the group is the Asia Bar - but it's only open on Mondays and Tuesdays and cannot be booked online. Seriously?Well, we went to the boathouse on Sunday. When we arrived at 5:55 p.m. we were sent away again. You're not finished yet. Ok, then just go to the beach again. Not nice, but whatever. Ordered and received a good aperitif, bread and two starters. Well, the vitello tonnato and the mackerel ceviche were very simple for €55, but tasted good. Then the main course. The sea bass was quite ok. The 100g turbot in a foam and with 3 melon pearls, on the other hand, was much more reminiscent of a second starter than a main course. It's very rare that my wife asks for dessert. Good chocolate tart on the one hand and a variation made from rose hips on the other. I would have decided differently. The tart tried desperately to compensate for the lack of saturation in the process. Heavy, coarse, sweet, fat - despite her remaining appetite, she mostly stayed there. In the end, including the simple bottle of Pinot Gris, €300. Despite nice service, it was a completely bad investment. However, the crowning glory was yet to come. So on Monday we went to the Asian bar. Removal, directly at the entrance. It's full, you can't entertain more than 20 guests in the evening! Two tables every half hour and they are reserved. The numerous free seats at the bar and in the lounges were not an argument to be softened. The possible space is not the problem, it's about the principle. After all, it would be the most popular restaurant on site, according to the restaurant manager who was called to the table, and literally “….there was no need for it!” OK, at that point we were out.In the end, we had the impression that everything was aimed at somehow filling the low-volume gourmet restaurant with guests. There were only about 50 guests in the entire resort during our stay. We don't want to know what it looks like at full capacity. It's a shame that when it comes to dinner, "...there's no need for it."Best tips for guests who are still going and don't want to go to bed hungry in the evening:The “Zweizack” in Oldenburg - absolutely great cuisine, friendly service and a lovely atmosphere. And if the boss of the Asia bar no longer has room for you, the TAMATSU in Heiligenhafen - sushi and good Asian cuisine.Even if you take a taxi to pick them up and pick them up, it feels like half the price and twice the service.Get well soonJK

Until today we thought the hotel park at the Four Seasons Florence was unique for a hotel, but here we were proven wrong. …

An incredibly great resort with all amenities and excellent service. This is the second time I've been there with my husband and this time I'm once again completely overwhelmed by the 75 hectare park landscape, by the service but also by the spa area and the room.We were accommodated directly in the castle and we were totally enchanted.I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

I was in the White House for the first time in winter. It's not just the house, but a whole area with many small houses that also have rooms. The grounds are very well maintained. The rooms are nicely furnished, although our carpet needed to be replaced and there was mold on the joints in the bathroom. The quality of the bedding was top notch, I have never had such a great pillow. The spa is very nice, but there weren't enough loungers (and the hotel wasn't fully booked at the time). If you come to the spa in the afternoon in the winter, you'll look in vain for a free spot - a shame. The breakfast was very extensive and very tasty. We ate twice in the small restaurant on the beach and were very satisfied both times. All in all, it was a relaxing and enjoyable stay and we would love to come back.
