Beautiful and tasteful rooms and also a small balcony. Enough for 2 people. Everything very clean. Great breakfast, everything pretty sustainable. Not overloaded and with little waste. From here you can start many hiking tours. We'd love to come back.

Very friendly hotel with a first-class price-performance ratio.Loving and extensive breakfast for the size of the hotel.The practical and quiet location is unique. The Dauner Maare can be easily reached on foot. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Nice, quiet hotel in the Vulkaneifel. Great starting point for beautiful hikes. We had 2 double rooms. Both furnished individually and with a lot of love, while being sustainably thought out. Sparkling clean too. An unexpectedly great breakfast rounded off our stay, served by a very courteous and friendly service.Price performance top!

We had a holiday apartment this weekend and I have to say it was a dream!!Super equipped with everything your heart desires with attention to detail. Very clean and well maintained with lots of nature in a small town. You could really enjoy it. Breakfast buffet was very good and the breakfast lady was very friendly and tried hard. All in all very satisfied. Thank you

A beautiful and particularly quiet place to stay overnight. There is plenty of nature around so that you can also walk with your dogs. Auszeit am Eifelsteig is dog-friendly (but a fee is charged for the animals).The house makes a very nice and cozy impression as soon as you enter.All rooms have a balcony from which you have a wonderful view.Our room was very spacious and was lovingly furnished.Good sleeping comfort.The only negative point: The bathroom is open to the living area. The toilet is a bit difficult to use because it is installed at an angle to the back.The breakfast room of the house impresses with its very pleasant ambience and the wonderful view.Breakfast is buffet style and offers a reasonable selection. A particularly friendly and always smiling employee offers a selection of drinks and offers guests various ways to prepare eggs, which are then made fresh for each guest.All in all, a highly recommended house with a good price/performance ratio.

We stayed here on our first big bikepacking tour. Check-in was also possible late in the evening using the key box. We could safely park the bikes in a garage. The double room on the ground floor was absolutely new and attractively furnished, more like a junior suite. The owner was very friendly and we didn't miss anything at breakfast. It would have been great if we hadn't had to wash our cycling clothes by hand, but that wasn't advertised and unfortunately this service is rarely available in German hotels. Definitely a recommendation and good value for money

Loving hotel with a great locationWhat did we particularly like?The location is extremely good for hikes around the Maare and Daun, as many hiking trails intersect here.We were warmly welcomed by the boss a little before check-in time. All the other hotel employees also radiated friendliness.Room number 9 was chic and comfortably furnished. There was plenty of storage space and it was clean. The balcony is large and equipped with armchairs and a table. It was great that there was a small kettle for instant coffee and tea.The breakfast was clear, with the exception of Nutella, no plastic waste. The freshly prepared scrambled eggs or fried eggs were very tasty.A refrigerator on the floor kept drinks available for a fee. And so it was also possible to put something in there to cool yourself.What didn't we like so much?There was solid hand soap on the sink, but it was packaged in plastic and was relatively large, so only half was used up after 4 nights.Shower gel was provided in small plastic bottles, which creates enormous waste. Perhaps permanently installed soap dispensers would be a solution for both.There wasn't enough storage space in the bathroom, as there was no sink cabinet. We also missed hanging towels next to the sink.There was no variety at the breakfast buffet. Since we were often the last to arrive for breakfast, sometimes certain products were missing or only in short supply.A lot of effort was put into filling small portions of jam into Weck jars. Often there was only one variety.Consistency in room service would be good. Sometimes the pillows were made like this and sometimes like that. Sometimes there was a new bottle of Dauner water and sometimes not. Sometimes there were new tea bags and sometimes not.We felt very, very comfortable!That's why we would choose this hotel at any time if we wanted to visit the Eifel! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼🏠

Great room for one person. Nice chair, a kettle and tea and coffee. In addition, you can take something soft or beer/wine from the refrigerator and pay later. Contactless check-in was quick and easy. Breakfast very good, lots of choice and beautifully prepared. Friendly employees and owner. Bathroom fine. Everything very clean.

Neat and clean, a bit strange and actually no longer appropriate in this day and age to push 2 beds together with a very large gap in between. Extremely small bathroom. Breakfast was good, but not really remarkable. Could be better, could certainly be worse.

The house is on the edge of a very small town, so the location can really be described as very quiet. There are a number of hiking trails on foot and you can reach the Maaren in 10 minutes.The breakfast was delicious, the rooms were very comfortable just like the rest of the house. The owners are extremely friendly. Absolute recommendation if you just want to relax in peace :)
