We are repeat offenders, i.e. we were here last summer and therefore know the difference to the previous hosts. Our conclusion: The surroundings and the property are still a dream. The house has clearly won in terms of atmosphere and people!! We felt very comfortable and seen and understood with every concern. This is thanks in particular to Ms. Dittrich and the warm, confident service staff at breakfast, who, among other things, helped us: provided wonderful tips and information about the area. In addition, the new lunch menu is to be welcomed, where in addition to coffee and cake, a small selection of savory dishes can also be ordered between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. However, the evening visit to the restaurant was very disappointing. There are significant losses in quality on many levels, which in no way justify the constant price level. We actually still see a need for change and adjustment here. Hotel Ole Liese, would be happy to come back at any time. We would rather forego the restaurant at the moment...

I stayed here with my dog for 6 days. In a sense, my personal rehab after an operation. The suitcase was brought to my room and back to the car. The staff - service and cleaning - were extremely nice and helpful. The breakfast - not a buffet - is, which is rare, sustainable. It is served at the table. You can have the basics from the menu (rolls, homemade jams, honey from the estate), sausage, cheese, salmon, Bircher muesli, various egg dishes, fruit salad, etc. brought to you. Of course freshly squeezed orange juice. I think it's good and important not to have to destroy food once it's been served. In the evenings I ate salad, low-temperature veal shank, venison ragout and hake - fried - with equally delicious sauces and side dishes. Everything was perfectly cooked and very tasty. The room in the guest house (old school) was opposite Olen Liese. I had one with a village view. Very comfortably furnished. With comfortable seating area and bed. You can sit outside on the meadow, play and enjoy the autumn sun in a deck chair. At the bottom of the building there is a cozy fireplace room and a drinks machine. I didn't miss anything. I really enjoyed my stay on the estate grounds and its edge with a fantastic view of the inland lake and the Baltic Sea. Also the short 10-15 minute walk (car) to the Baltic Sea, where long walks were possible. A hike to Hessenstein is also recommended, as is the circular route around the estate. Of course, a stroll through the estate itself with its nice shops is highly recommended. A good, very versatile place for relaxation and recreation. And just a good hour's drive from home. I will come back.Points are only deducted for the fact that the room needed to be partially renovated, but that wasn't a problem for me. This is certainly a matter of taste. And a small refrigerator would certainly be useful for summer guests.

It's a shame, for years we were able to buy drinks and food in the restaurant and eat them in the spacious garden. Now we were sent away with the words “should we get sick outside?” Very bad cinema if I offer to take the things out myself and the dishes back in too.

We were there again recently. Unfortunately there is no safe or refrigerator, which is also needed for medication. In a location like this, even with the demands, it's a given, so only 3 stars for rooms.

I went with my 90-year-old mom again for an overnight stay with a table reservation at Ole Liese for the evening...it's always wonderful to be there...everything was very well maintained, absolutely idyllic, varied on site thanks to the various small shops , studios or workshops, so that even someone who is no longer good on foott, can have an entertaining time with new impressions. The service and the menu in the evening, as well as the breakfast, were really exquisite.I always enjoy coming back, even for short stays.

During a longer vacation on the North and Baltic Seas, we stayed at the Hotel Ole Liese for five days. From the welcome on the first day to the farewell on the last day, we were thrilled. Extremely friendly staff, very attentive, very concerned about the guest. Always a friendly chat and tips about the area, be it a morning run or excursions. A wonderful atmosphere and great rooms. The food in the restaurant was excellent. We recovered very well and were surprised every morning by how beautiful the area, the view from the window and how great the breakfast was.We sincerely hope that this young group continues as charmingly as we have experienced.

Today we visited Ole Liese's terrace. Guests who arrived significantly later than us already had their drinks at the table...we couldn't even place the order. There were about 5 service staff at a maximum of 15 tables... absolutely recommended for people who have patience and nerve... it was our first time at Ole Liese and certainly the last time. Service an absolute disaster!!!!!

Beautiful hotel, in the middle of horse paddocks, peace and idyll, clean, high-quality rooms, great beds, we had a very nice stay at the Hotel Ole Liese. The breakfast, served at the table, was also great. But unfortunately dinner in the restaurant was a huge disappointment! Not recommended! The menu reads great, but the implementation is poor. What looks beautifully decorated on the plate turns out to be oversalted and burnt too black. Really bad. The service staff is understaffed and still in training, but they are very hard-working and nice, so you can still tolerate that. Unfortunately, the kitchen is not recommended.
