Apparently not interested in hikers.House guests are served in the afternoon and we as a group of hikers are not. The following information was given at 4:00 p.m. We have a break until 5:00 p.m. During this time only house guests will be served. This can't be surpassed in terms of cheekiness. Never again Frasdorfer Hütte.

We can only agree with the bad reviews. We had to pay a deposit of 100 euros to reserve an evening meal and when we asked for a shuttle service we were rudely handled twice. There is none. Different than described on the website. Everyone is totally overwhelmed! A lot of learning money for nothing.

It's a shame - it could have been great. But unfortunately there is just a lot of chichi about nothing here. …

Unfortunately you can't give zero stars. We have been waiting for weeks for a promised repayment which was confirmed by email. Rarely have I seen such a poorly run hut at this price level. …

It's a shame - it could have been great. But unfortunately there is just a lot of chichi about nothing here. The frasi deserves better - again a place with heart and where people like to come, feel comfortable and there is a warm atmosphere. Instead, they try to get people from Munich to Chiemgau with a mountain panorama and food at a self-proclaimed star level. One can only hope that this concept doesn't work and that Frasi becomes what it once was - a piece of Chiemgau. Until then, there will probably be a lot of money to be paid for below-average food, poor service and unprofessional restaurant/hotel management.

Terrible location…. A refuge from “Isar Preissn” - grossly overpriced - staff uncoordinated and overwhelmed - never again - real mountain lovers should avoid this fancy place and give it a wide berth... …

I probably ate the best game of my life there. Brilliant wine expertise and we were looked after with a lot of drive and customer focus - a really great team and the hut was built with a lot of passion and love. We had a wonderful time and it was awesome. We'll be back! One more thing about the bad reviews I read here: Guys, it's a mountain hut! So you have to be realistic about your expectations - otherwise just keep going to McDonald's and the HotelOne... also this whining about the prices. You know what you've booked - crying afterwards like you're on mom's skirt is rarely embarrassing.

More appearance than realityI received a voucher for my birthday for a 4-course meal in the hut and went to dinner with my husband and two friends. The ambience of the hut is promising, but the disappointment with the food was even greater, especially when you see the prices they charge here. Our first course was a kind of tomato salad. I can't describe it any other way, definitely nothing special in terms of taste or appearance. As a second course we had a corn porridge with raw mushroom slices. We all found it at the table very difficult to get used to and the taste was off.The third course was venison with beans and pasta. The meat was tender, the beans were undercooked and the sauce was watery. We also complained about this to the waitress, and I myself had the plate returned half full. A lady at the next table also left the meat completely on the plate. For dessert there was rice pudding with rhubarb. The feedback from my companions was that it was okay, but the rhubarb didn't go well. I don't like rice pudding myself and got 3 pieces of cheese with dip instead. Nothing out of the ordinary. The young waitress we had at the table was friendly but absolutely incompetent. She had no idea about the wines, then another colleague came along who couldn't really recommend anything, let alone say anything about the wine itself. Nothing was ever said about the individual courses, but that didn't matter much given what was on the plate. All in all, a huge failure and completely overpriced. I can't imagine that this concept will last. The restaurant didn't respond to our complaint about the meat. When one of our friends paid, he asked the waitress about it again. Then they just talked it out and offered us an espresso. An absolute joke, especially since I'm offered an espresso or something similar in every well-run restaurant with a bill like that without complaining. Perhaps the innkeeper here should return to offering good, down-to-earth cuisine at normal prices. This is definitely not fine dining. Too bad about the money. I definitely won't go here again and can't recommend it either.
