We had dinner here today. All very tasty. We had a mixed salad as a starter. Then the deer veal goulash and the lumberjack steak, great. Afterwards a warm cheesecake and a cream puff were also very tasty. Then we served two burnt bloodroot. Can only recommend it.

In my opinion the best restaurant in Chiemgau!For many years, or even decades, I have been coming regularly to the Geigelstein Inn with my family. We could always rely on the great quality and hospitality.The bread dumplings in particular are the best I've ever eaten! These are particularly recommended in combination with the great schnitzel. 🤗My favorite restaurant and deserves 5 stars!

Large, traditional Bavarian inn with the same cuisine. Lüngerl, game, trout, cream puffs, wild plants, etc...Friendly, charming waitress. Traunstein beer, interesting schnapps. And all affordable. Compliment!

I can't rate the room because we were only guests in the restaurant at lunchtime.Came across the inn by chance while we were hiking through the smugglers' routes.The food was very tasty, we had something from the daily menu (game meat patties & venison goulash with spaetzle and mushroom sauce). The food came quickly and everything was great.If we are in the area again we would visit this restaurant again.

I had the onion roast and the meat was wonderfully tender! The pancakes for dessert were also great! The prices were a little higher, but it was totally worth it for the quality. We definitely want to come back.

The food was okay, but the service wasn't very friendly to us, and you can pay by card in almost every restaurant these days. If you can't do it with a card, then at least there has to be a working ATM, which wasn't the case there and you couldn't withdraw money with a card or anything.
