Absolutely rustic farm with 2 guest rooms on the first floor.The furnishings are the opposite of a modern plastic hotel room > simple, there are no front door keys, the refrigerator and the "parlor" in the basement (fireplace room with TV and table for breakfast) are shared with the other guests, but exactly these things plus that The somewhat secluded location on the mountain made the accommodation comfortable.The Aringer family is also very friendly and no one has to starve at breakfast.You feel very well looked after here.I will come to Aschau more often in the next few years and hope that there is still a room available when I need it. 🙂

The breakfast is very warmly prepared and plentiful in the wonderful old room with the green tiled stove. With our questions about excursions, weather and special concerns, we always receive an open ear and a helpful hand.I've been coming here with my own family for a few years now. As a child, I was a guest of the Aringer family along with my parents and aunt and uncle.I am now experiencing the (hospitality) friendliness of the Höhenberg 15 in the 3rd (!) generation and we are certainly not here for the last time. Beautifully located farm with two guest rooms. The rooms are very nicely furnished and have a small bathroom with shower/toilet. Very nice view of the surrounding mountains (Kampenwand). Aschau is about 2 km away, the moor bathing area and a nice café can be reached on foot in just a few minutes. Hiking trails right in front of the house. Good, sufficient breakfast. Very nice hosts,We liked it very much.
