I can't rate the room but everything else is perfect. Great selection of cakes and friendly service. And an amazing view of Lake Chiemsee

Small but nice restaurant. We had dinner there. Card sufficient. No great meat dishes, but there should be something for everyone. Large selection of cakes! Friendly and attentive service staff. And not a given for the Chiemsee area: card payments are possible!!

When we are on vacation in Bernau, we always look forward to a good breakfast buffet here. We'd love to come! The offering is extensive and we like the cozy living room as well as the sun-drenched outdoor area.

We booked a room via Booking and immediately received the booking confirmation. When we arrived shortly before our destination in the early afternoon, my wife was informed by telephone from the accommodation that the room we had booked had been allocated to someone else and that we should initiate the cancellation of the booking with Booking. We have 2 small children and had to organize an alternative at short notice so that we didn't have to sleep in the car. Due to the stress, we unfortunately only found out later that canceling a booking for accommodation via Booking is only possible via the service and is associated with additional costs for the accommodation. The accommodation offered us neither help in finding alternatives nor compensation, for example in the form of a voucher for an overnight stay at a later date. That may be one thing, but then putting the hassle of canceling on us wasn't a good thing.If we project this experience onto the rest of the hotel we are glad we didn't spend 2 days there.

Great hotel/holiday apartment with great play opportunities for the little ones. Super nice hosts, great cakes in the afternoon and snack options in the evening.Breakfast is good.As a family with a child <1 year old, I wouldn't recommend the double room.Washing machine, kitchen, bike/buggy room is available.

Went there for breakfast with the children and loved the concept. Very family friendly and the breakfast was good and plentiful. By the way, the young barista conjures up excellent coffee and cappuccino. Were completely satisfied!

Went there for a birthday breakfast, but unfortunately it was a bad experience.If you have a room there, okay, the buffet, a la Continental Breakfast, where you have to order the bacon separately, is fine, but I know better places. Too bad.

I was there for breakfast and had the pancake and the obadza. Unfortunately the pancake was very greasy but tasty. The Obadza unfortunately with caraway. It would be good to indicate this on the map. The service was very nice. Unfortunately, I only noticed the behavior of the animals later. I grew up partly on a farm myself and know what that shouldn't be like. The few cows lie on the hard ground without bedding or straw in their excrement and hardly have any space to move. The two ponies are also standing in a dark stable with hardly any fresh bedding, one of them only has a halter hanging around its neck. Super dangerous. Neither the cows nor the ponies look well cared for. Only the three or four horses in the paddock looked good. I wish I had checked this out first then I would have gone to another cafe. I don't want to support such a loveless attitude. That's why only two stars and only because of the nice food.

Located very close to Bernau am Chiemsee, slightly elevated. A wonderful view of the Chiemgau. The café has a large sun terrace. Very tasty cakes and tarts, as well as tasty snacks and warm dishes are offered. Extensive drinks and ice cream menu. Friendly and courteous service. For visitors with children there is a playground and a small petting zoo right next to the house. Service is also served here. Very child friendly! Only recommended! Always my pleasure...
