I felt very comfortable with the Luger family.Everything very clean! A firm, good mattress, room furnishings and bathroom in the old style, but everything is fine and functional.I received a hairdryer upon request.Normal breakfast, plentiful.Guest refrigerator in the hallway.Good price/performance ratio!A very nice, quiet location. The tinkling of cowbells all around is fantastic, as is the smoked fish from the nearby farm sale in the village.Good walking distance to both the Kampenwandbahn and the hiking trail on the Prien and other destinations, as well as Hohenaschau Castle. My highlight: Mr. Luger picked me up from Aschau train station and brought me back, a great service for a sustainable vacation without a car.Thank you and we'll be happy to come back!

Phew, difficult. First the positive: quiet, beds OK. - the man says too short. Room clean, windows that open. TV good! Attention: if you want a balcony, you have to pay attention to this when booking. But: furnishings from the 70s? or even older? Bahama beige.Location: quiet, but also on the mountain (Wald district!!) and on the A... you don't get anything here. Not possible without a car. No restaurant within walking distance.Plus: refrigerator for general use.Breakfast: OK. Only: 2 eggs?? Is there no farm around the corner with chickens?Sausage, cheese, tomatoes, cucumbers. Baked rolls and packaged whole grain bread. Yogurt. Packaged jam/honey.The lady at breakfast was nice. Conclusion: for 106,- / room - sorry, I expect more.Absolute recommendation: Wirtshaus zum Baumbach - wow!! Rarely eaten so well. They also have rooms... ;-)

The plan was to visit the wife and child for a spa stay. Unfortunately, after the Aschau tourist information office was unable to offer me accommodation with pets, I found this great guesthouse in the Bach/Wald district of Aschau on my own. An absolute insider tip. The room was more than sufficient for me and my four-legged companion. There was a balcony with a mountain view and a private bathroom. Everything very clean and tidy. The hosts were very accommodating and made no difference whether there was one guest in the house or several. It was a very nice stay and I would like to come back.
