I can only disagree with the reviews. It is clear that there are mosquitoes and flies on a *horse farm*. Maybe it's not round everywhere, but it's not a 5-star hotel either. Overall it is clean and tidy. The house has a lot of charm. The host family is very friendly.As a small improvement, fly screens and better WiFi would be nice. We would still like to come back again.Thank you very much!

We were here with friends. Everyone had children with them.Unfortunately, the reception wasn't particularly nice because the actual landlords weren't there. We only received the conclusions in very broken German from a lady who worked in the stable there.No information about the conditions on site, such as the garbage system etc. or the surrounding area.The layout of the apartment was very suitable for us. A smaller room with a double bed and a large room with 5 beds. Unfortunately it wasn't clean. The dishes in the cupboards were dirty and so was the bed. The drain in the shower was blocked, causing the entire bathroom to regularly flood. The faucet in the kitchen was loose and the door handle in the small bedroom was in your hand. Very unfortunate. Actually a great place to stay. Unfortunately, little love is put into the service and care.

Beautiful and idyllic old farm in the middle of a forest clearing. Simple holiday apartments with everything you need. A very warm welcome from the young owner family and ideally located for a few days near Lake Constance. Ideal for horse-loving children in the middle of great nature. We always book the entire house for our annual family reunion with a huge apartment under the attic as a common room for spending evenings together. Gladly again and again!

Unfortunately I have to agree with the negative reviews. Thank God we only spent 1 night here in an apartment.The room smelled unpleasant (like smoke, among other things), and it seemed unhygienic and carelessly furnished. The “tea kitchen” didn’t invite people to use it either.When we arrived the heating was off/not working (it was around 0° outside) & it was very difficult to reach anyone as there is no network in the entire yard. Nobody answered the bell.Despite apologizing and quickly turning on the heating pump (when we finally reached someone), I have to draw a sobering conclusion.The location of the farm is nice, but we didn't feel comfortable at all and were cold all night. We would have liked more presence and more effort on the part of the landlords. It's a shame - because the old house had a lot of potential.After so many critical reviews, I don't understand why nothing has been changed about the condition of the apartments.

We didn't feel comfortable there. The beds are uncomfortable and the bedding smells funny.No proper curtain in the bathroom and mold on the shower.WiFi doesn't work and network isn't available.There were Polish workers in the house with us who worked on the farm. It was very loud in the house.TV didn't work and was set to Polish.The accommodation is not recommended!

We were here on the farm with our family over the weekend.There are many defects in apartment 5 that need to be eliminated.The shower doesn't drain, there are broken light bulbs in the kitchen and the coffee machine is leaking.This apartment is very suitable for a large family.The large bedroom on the upper floor has no heating, and a day later the guests who slept there had a cold.This space doesn't seem isolated either.This is not possible for overnight stays in cold seasons, not even like this.We had to completely restructure the staffing of the beds.And the apartments are very noisy.That bothered us.Towels and bed linen have an unpleasant smell.It would be a nice accommodation if the deficiencies are corrected.Unfortunately not satisfactory for our family.It would be nice if the deficiencies were corrected.

I give one point for the cleanliness of the apartment, everything else left something to be desired. If you don't value order and comfort, you've come to the right place. The apartment is sparsely furnished with old furniture and some wobbly and uncomfortable chairs. The electrical appliances worn out and parts broken. TV doesn't work. There are no wine or beer glasses, no egg cups or breakfast plates. The towels and bed linen smell unpleasant. The apartment does not exude comfort. The garden furniture is completely weathered and the entire yard looks unkempt. You don't feel like sitting or grilling here.The greeting was also superficial and impersonal. There was neither an instruction nor an inspection. The same was the departure. Nobody was seen here anymore. You don't get the impression of being welcome here, rather it seems that the holiday apartments offer an additional welcome income without any service. Holidays and guest friendliness look different!

Location of the Hofgut is great.Our apartment 5 was very large, but unfortunately it had many defects that were not resolved during our stay.Table bench with loose legs, wobbly chairs, loose and calcified faucet in kitchen. Water sprayed in all directions. No coffee machine, dirty baking tray, some broken items in the fridge, apartment couldn't be locked for 2 days due to broken door lock...It's a real shame that nothing is being renovated

It is good for a small family or pleasure vacation for couple days or even longer. The house is designed very simply. Service is also OK! WiFi was from good to ok but there's nothing to say about that! After all, it is a farm and it was very good for that. The yard was laid out okay and there was a garden to sit together in! Still can't say anything for the prices, great experience!!

I wish I could give the inn more stars, but all in all a very sobering stay.The rooms were extremely dirty, our towels were stained and the WiFi was almost non-existent. Check-in and check-out were also very customer-unfriendly. You have 2 hours to check in, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.If you value clean accommodation, you should unfortunately give it a wide berth.

The court festival on May 1st was a total failure. The owners can't do anything about the bad weather. But I imagine something different when it comes to a gourmet street, comfortable seating and a children's paradise, even when it rains. In a loveless stable there was a loveless sausage in a dry spelled roll at a loveless wooden table. On a scraped paper plate you could guess that there was also supposed to be mustard. Another table sold waffles. Two rickety beer benches invited people to linger. The path to the farm led over a sloping forest road that was unable to cope with the rush of vehicles parked on both sides. Unable to turn or avoid. And that’s with oncoming traffic. It was a sad trip.

The guest is not welcome here!Check-in only from 4 p.m., no availability in advance, neither by phone nor by email. It wasn't until the second email the day before arrival that I received an answer because I wanted to know the check-in time. When I asked about it in person, I got a mushy answer that that was the case with them and that I could book somewhere else. Great reception, you'll want to go back straight away😲. No guest service. In general, you get the impression that they have a stressful routine on the farm during the day and have no time for guests. For families with children who are looking forward to vacationing there and children like horses, this is the wrong place - the farm is not designed for that.It is a place to sleep and not a vacation home. It's more about making money here. There was a very nice and friendly man in the team, otherwise the rest of them were not interested in the guests. The registration is a functional room that doesn't really invite you to linger, hay and straw on the floor. Clean and guest-friendly looks different.

Very nice farm with nice people and a lot of heart. The holiday apartments are very cozy and spacious. Highly recommended with children!Regarding the previous reviews, I would like to say: Yes, you are actually not allowed to simply 'visit' most of the horses, as they are exhibitors (which the website clearly shows), whose owners would rightly not be happy if strangers simply walk through the boxes. However, there are even two ponies right behind the house that you can pet.And if it bothers you to find a dead fly on a horse farm, you might be better off in a hotel. We found everything sparkling clean.

I liked everything very much. Processing via booking, payment everything went well in advance.Then when I arrived I had to wait 20 minutes because of a phone call.According to the owner, the entire area is quite a forbidden zone. You are only allowed to go to the two ponies.If it says holiday apartment, it is actually a room with bathroom, kitchenette is missing.There is a kettle, but it cannot be filled due to the small sink in the bathroom. There are no curtains, just a rod hanging.Bathroom including toilet very narrow.Bed linen smells like soft soap and organic soap in the toilet indicates that fine materials are used here.The inside of the shower looks almost new, but the seals have mold and the drain is not working properly.Unfortunately, even after pointing this out, nothing happened.Furniture thrown together.Radiator inside very dusty and ceiling light was including flies. Despite there being 4 lamps in the room it was pretty dark.I hope that the problems can be solved and a wonderful accommodation will be created. In any case, the philosophy behind it is very good. See homepage.If teething problems are resolved, it could be a top spot.

A motorhome parking space is offered here for 10.00 a night. I find it a bit strange that people allow themselves to take money for this "parking space" 🤔🤔🤔🤔 or advertise it as a parking space. Electricity should cost €5.00 per night.

Unfortunately, I can't really recommend the Hofgut Wiggenweiler. When we arrived we were only told what was necessary, ok we were 2 hours early but for almost 1000 € for the 5-person apartment in the attic for a week you should treat the guests a little differently... A tidy, clean holiday apartment is what we mean but something different. Slatted frames crack or are too small. Mattresses are so bad that you can feel every single spring. The bathroom was not cleaned properly (dust and hair in every corner where you look). The toilet brush holder was full of stale water and the container smelled disgustingly of manure. The hair was still hanging on the drain from the shower.In almost all rooms you can find dead, squashed mosquitoes on the walls or ceilings. The apartment itself is almost completely uninsulated and very hot... You won't find any household appliances here either, 1 kettle, 1 oven-stove, 1 dishwasher and 1 refrigerator. There was also a lot of dirt under the couch in the living room... Chips, nuts and even darts can be found here... Apparently the hygiene and well-being of the guests are not considered important here. Oh yes and as the previous ones have already mentioned, you are not allowed to pet the horses.My conclusion for 139 € per night... There is space but that's about it with the advantages. 1 time and never againUnfortunately I wasn't able to take photos of everything, but these are enough
