A guesthouse run with a lot of heart and with a focus on guests, owned by a young family who work hard to ensure that their guests have a pleasant stay in this beautiful area. The holiday apartment we used with a kitchen, bathroom and private living room offered a comfortable stay and served as a starting point for many hikes and trips to Saxon Switzerland and also to the beautiful city of Dresden. But the nearby town of Frauenstein, one of the jewels of the Eastern Erzgebirge, is also an inviting destination to linger. In winter, as we found out from the very helpful and caring hostess over breakfast in the main building, you can start directly from the guesthouse into the winter sports area, where in the evening you can also use the illuminated cross-country ski trails just a few meters away. For this winter sport, the guesthouse has appropriate equipment for the whole family, which can be rented on site. On a rainy day we were able to use the newly set up lunch table so that we didn't have to cook and could devote ourselves to our books in peace and quiet in our own temporary living room. We felt completely at home in this beautiful place, had nice conversations, laughed a lot and will definitely come back! What particularly impressed us about this down-to-earth and very clean guesthouse was the reserved, but always very attentive and hard-working hostess, who at the same time caters to the needs of your family, even when the breakfast room is busy (and still with the coffee pot in her hand). . Make you smile and just feel good! We wish Pension Oberknapp all the best, lots of guests and look forward to seeing you again soon!PS: Since we were traveling purely electrically, we were very happy about the wallbox that was there as a matter of course!Best regards from Cologne on the Rhine!

A pension that is getting old. But the old GDRCharm has been preserved.Rooms are extremely clean and well furnished.Great breakfast, a must.Child friendly. Dogs are also welcome.The landlady is very nice, friendly and helpful and accommodating. For summer vacationers, a nice place for hiking. For winter vacationers who like cross-country skiing, the cross-country ski trail is right next to the guesthouse.

Perfect location for hiking and switching off! Located directly by the forest and on the cross-country ski trail.Nadine and her family are perfect hosts. The rooms were very clean, the price-performance ratio was right. We liked it very much!We'll definitely be back 🙂

I was allowed to move into the holiday apartment with my two dogs for a week in the summer. It was really pleasantly cool, so my two four-legged friends could relax there or lie around in the sun in the yard or on the meadow if necessary. With the Rielke family there is new momentum here - always super nice, helpful and sociable. Great for arriving and feeling good.Also great with children or for bikers/cyclists or cross-country skiing enthusiasts in winter.Just around the corner is the Blockline, cross-country ski trails and a beautifully made fitness trail & great forest area & meadow paths. The Gimmlitz also invites you to cool off your dog's paws ;).We'd love to come back!

It is a very nice rural guesthouse with very friendly owners who are talkative, friendly, and have a bit of a family atmosphere and are therefore offered a whole feel-good package. Family-friendly and children are welcome. The adjacent property is large and invites you to play. Feel free to see for yourself, we were and left completely satisfied. We like to remember it.The rooms are beautifully decorated in rustic wood, very clean! A TV, a cupboard, a table with chairs and an adjoining bathroom make the room and the guesthouse really good.For the young generation you have internet reception and even 5G if you need it 😉If you want peace and nature and a fair price for overnight accommodation as a whole, this is the right place for you!The surrounding area invites you to go hiking, cycling and much more...We are happy to recommend it and look forward to seeing you again in a few days :)

Pension Oberknapp is currently being given new life by changing ownership! The beginning has been made. Expansion follows! Super friendly! We hope that there will soon be more events and catering at this great place. There will be food again in the future!

Beautiful holiday apartment for 4 people with friendly hospitality from the hosts. Breakfast was prepared with love and wishes were fulfilled. Thanks to the Rieke family. Best location for hiking and lots of cycling opportunities. We'll come back in winter when there will hopefully be snow.

Very accommodating, friendly. It's cozy and you feel good. It's great to see the dedication with which Ms. Oberknapp asserts herself with her profession here in the ski area. There's no way around this guesthouse in Nassau and it's worth it.

We were on our motorbike in the Erzgebirge at the weekend. We had booked a room with Ms. Oberknapp for one night because we wanted to continue driving the next day. We were warmly welcomed and immediately felt at home. The room was very comfortably furnished, tidy and clean. We ended the evening with a very good dinner and one (or two) draft beers. The breakfast was very rich and tasty. Conclusion: If you are looking for accommodation with breakfast at a moderate price, you are in good hands with Ms. Oberknapp. We will definitely stop in Nassau again. Thank you.
