We come back every week. If you like to eat well and enjoy eating, you've come to the right place. Ms. Rauschhuber is a great landlady, always friendly and accommodating. We love the beer garden in the summer, but the warm welcome is what makes it so special. This is no longer a given today. An absolute recommendation for us.

Very nice cozy inn. The food was extremely delicious! Honest cuisine. Portions good. The plates are preheated, which I think is great. Price/performance absolutely fair. The service is friendly and German. I thought it was a shame that no one asked if it tasted good. Because it definitely has. We also didn't ask if we wanted something to drink or dessert.There are enough free parking spaces.Conclusion: Absolutely recommended!

Our room on the top floor had air conditioning, which made things very bearable in the summer. There used to be a minibar in there but it seems to have been removed unfortunately. The room size was ok and the bed was not super comfortable. Bathroom was a very nice size and had already been modernized. ATTENTION: Bring your own shower gel/shampoo (we are so spoiled that it is everywhere these days that we were missing it and had to take the soap from the sink if necessary). We didn't have any food on site so I can't say anything about it. Reception staff also runs around and supplies the restaurant. That's why you can sometimes stand around a little stupid and have to wait until your turn comes. But I would book there again and can recommend it.

The food was very good, the service was friendly and took special requests into account. Prices are normal, food and drink for 6 adults around 140 euros

My wife and I were invited to a big birthday party at the Gasthaus zur Linde about 2 months ago. The atmosphere there was very festive and very beautiful in a pleasant way. The food was very attractively prepared and served. It tasted very fresh, healthy, varied and good. The service staff were very courteous, quick and very friendly at all times despite the many guests. Conclusion: an all-round successful evening in Hohenpolding.

Yesterday we were invited to a birthday party in private, the restaurant continued to operate next door. The food was delicious, the waitresses were very nice and attentive! There was a menu and when my two daughters told the waitress that they were vegan, she nodded and noted it. In other Bavarian restaurants they usually get a shrug of the shoulders and a side salad and fries with their meal. The starter was leaf salad with fried mushrooms and the main course was potato rosti with ratatouille - both beautifully presented, tasty and plentiful. Here's a really big compliment to the kitchen, which I hope goes down well!! Because when I ran into the boss (who, by the way, couldn't get a smile out of her all evening), I thanked her for the vegan food and praised the kitchen. In response, I was rudely shouted at that these extra vegan sausages actually don't work and that they're not welcome in the kitchen at all...she then complained some more and I left. If you want to see typical Bavarian grumpy service: you can find it here!! I don't understand why people who so obviously see their guests as a burden work in the restaurant industry??Maybe. Should the lady look beyond her traditional plate of roast pork, then she might see that vegetarians and vegans are not isolated eco-crazy people, but that this is an attitude to life that restaurants in the country should slowly adapt to .Personally, I will no longer be a burden to the lady!

This was our second time visiting here and once again we felt very welcome and well looked after. The dinner is amazing (German/Bavarian cuisine) and the breakfast is also super balanced and delicious. The rooms are super clean. The price-performance ratio is very good! We'll be back!
