We were guests at the Hannenhof from October 1st to 7th, 2023. The holiday apartment was nicely and functionally furnished, everything was there. We enjoyed the sun in front of the apartment and went on daily excursions into the beautiful surroundings. Many thanks to the very kind and warm landlords. We would be happy to come back.

Rental with light and shadowOn August 26th, 2023 we celebrated our wedding at Hannenhof in their barn. The location itself is very beautiful and rustic. So if you like it rustic, you'll love it straight away. Decorated accordingly, you have a dream environment for any kind of celebration. Very good: refrigerators, dispenser and coffee machine are available.If you rent the barn, the holiday apartments below can also be rented. Makes sense and is also fair in that respect. The apartments were clean and were occupied by our guests (3 and 5 people).Of course, you have to come to terms with the fact that there are no hotels in the immediate vicinity and therefore a taxi will be necessary if you have an exuberant celebration.Communication was always good and friendly before and during the celebration. Unfortunately not anymore after that. What a shame! Therefore, significant deductions in the service stars. We don't want to go into too much detail here, but we strongly recommend 1) having the rental and payment conditions confirmed in writing 2) carrying out a final inspection together with the landlord directly on the return day 3) having the final invoice given to you as a statement and not as a total amount - this is the only way everyone can be sure that everything will be billed as agreed.

We've only been here for a day, but I'm absolutely thrilled with the apartment!The Theisen family is very friendly and open-minded. They patiently explained all my questions about the farm and were very nice to my three-year-old son. The youngest member of the family immediately made friends with me and played.I would come back at any time!

The Hannenhof was a stroke of luck for us! The Theisens are a very warm and relaxed family who answered all of our curious questions in detail and let us take part in everything from caring for calves to driving tractors. The animals have plenty of exercise and are well looked after and feel just as comfortable as the people. The children have plenty of space to run around and have some opportunities to play. The apartment is well equipped and clean. Thank you very much, we felt very comfortable!

Very nice, helpful family who are happy to give information about their products and are happy to explain the milk machine. They take the time to do it, even if it takes them away from their work for a short time 😀 I can only highly recommend it. Definitely worth purchasing. So I would like to come back again and again in the future. 👍

A very nice farm and very nice and friendly landlords. Great and idyllic location. Here you can literally unwind and unwind. Absolutely relaxing here! We always go there with the children during the autumn holidays and it is always a great experience, also for the senses; the autumnal climate and the autumnal colors. The milk machine is also beautifully furnished with delicious jams, fresh eggs, etc. and I don't even want to start raving about the delicious schnapps and brandies, just great! I am convinced that the farm and the entire area reveal their charm in every season! It's also a great starting point for day trips, explorations and discoveries because so much is within easy reach; the Devil's Gorge, the Dinosaur Park, the Green Hell and Eulen-Horst, the Müllerthal, the Saar loop with the treetop path, Trier, many castles and other sights. I can absolutely recommend the Hannenhof as a place to relax and holiday, whether with or without children!

We were there for a schnapps tasting. We didn't have high expectations, but we were very, very positively surprised.The reception was super friendly. Nice family and a beautiful farm.During the schnapps tasting itself you can see how much passion goes into the work there. The location is really awesome. Very nicely decorated, with attention to detail.We were well looked after during the tasting. It was very funny, had a lot of fun. The host is very nice and takes care of everything your heart desires.It was an all-round carefree package!I can only recommend doing this there.The liqueurs, which are made in-house, are of course amazing!5 stars, unfortunately nothing more is possible!We will be back!
