Successful restart!Due to our recession a good two years ago, we were informed by company management about the change in management and course. Here's some praise: I think it's nice to approach this so proactively! It is a matter of honor that we come then.The “new ones” are the granddaughter and her partner. And what can we say: a breath of fresh air helps and shows what is possible. We treated ourselves to the Pentecost brunch and were very satisfied.The first thing we noticed was that a lot has happened in terms of service: many people are constantly attentive and of course friendly. You feel like you are in good hands as a guest and are looked after attentively. We observed this consistently with all guests. There was always someone in the dining room who was approachable and what was ordered came quickly.But the food was also impressive. Brunch here consisted of an extremely sumptuous breakfast buffet with many regional ingredients and home-made items. We also really liked the fact that there was something apart from the usual breakfast porridge, such as burrata, filled puff pastry snacks, fresh herb butter or a whole salmon.Unusually, the lunch part was not designed as a buffet, but was served to us. We like the idea! This way there isn't too much excess and nothing is left "dead" while keeping it warm.First there was a tasty soup with herbs from the garden. This was followed by an asparagus risotto with sea bream fillet. Both prepared perfectly and to perfection! Dorado juicy, skin crispy, asparagus and rice with a light bite and the risotto nice and fluffy. This was rounded off by various desserts such as chocolate mousse, brownies and the like.In advance, we repeatedly read and heard comments that the portions and prices were not good (too little, too high). We cannot agree with that. It is important to remember that you get the highest quality products from the region, which in many cases are also processed in-house. Today this has its price (also for reasons of fairness towards the producers). And even without the trimmings, the main course would have been an absolutely fair portion. During brunch, all warm drinks and breakfast juices were included for 36 euros per person. In addition, we had 3 cokes, 2 sparkling wine and a white wine and paid around 100 euros for the two of us. Overall, we find this to be fair and justified.So if you value quality, you should take a look here. As we have heard, the young family still has a lot planned. We keep our fingers crossed and come back!

Definitely recommended. Very nice owners. Rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast is sufficient to start the day well.

We are thrilled by the delicious cuisine and the warm treatment of the guests. This is where the hearts of fans of good cuisine beat faster :-)

I went there for lunch with my dad this afternoon and we both really enjoyed it! Taste and quality at its finest. It goes without saying that you have to dig a little deeper into your pockets. We would be happy to come back.

The rooms are okay, but the road past the hotel is very busy, especially in the morning. So much for the good news. The restaurant is not in order. The meals are rather mediocre with hardly any fresh products, but it is especially important that the portions are very small. However, the prices are not. Drinks are abnormally expensive. We also took a packed lunch for our walk that turned out to cost 10 euros and only contained one sandwich. We absolutely do not recommend the hotel.

Great service, fresh soul food cuisine and an outstanding wine list. A lot has happened here and you can see the love and dedication. Great job for the region. LG
