The hut offers a beautiful location with wonderful views and is an ideal starting point for various hikes. The service was consistently friendly and attentive, which made the stay very pleasant. While the food may not have quite lived up to our expectations, it was still fine. Overall, the hut is a solid choice for a stop after a hike.

Fantastic mountain hut!No matter whether summer, spring, autumn or winter, the trip to the steel house is always worth it. The food is delicious and can be enjoyed with the view up there. You can also spend the night in the Stahlhaus and experience the hut ambience up close. The hut owner knows the region very well and no matter where the tour goes, Peter is happy to help with his advice.

Warm staff. Otherwise sexist and condescending host. I didn't feel comfortable as a woman traveling alone.
