Pure Bavarian idyll with a top central location! A stone's throw to the Jennerbahn, bus stop, various restaurants and Königssee! Super nice hosts with very helpful tips for excursions and a great breakfast with milk from their own cows (a visit to the cuddly cows and calves is highly recommended!). The house also exudes pure Bavarian flair, the rooms are accordingly traditionally furnished, very clean and well-kept. We were very excited and would love to come back!!!!

Unfortunately, 7 wonderful overnight stays at Stangerlehen have just come to an end. My girlfriend and I spent our vacation of the year together in the guesthouse. Brutally central location - bus stop in front of the door, gondole to the mountain top in front of the door, 7 minutes walk to the Königssee ships. It's in an incredibly beautiful location, everything is very well maintained and fresh - everywhere in the guesthouse it's fresh and it's incredibly relaxing in combination with the mountain air. Beautiful balconies that are completely covered so that we could enjoy the quiet rain in the evenings in the dry - and if you want to experience something very special - take a look at the family's cowshed, there is not only 1 cuddly calf that is (very very very) likes to be petted - but all the cows have a lot of space, fresh food and a huge meadow.We'll be back.Best regardsChristian Tambour

We had a very pleasant stay at Stangerlehen. The family Springl welcomed us in a personal and warm way. The rooms are neat and the breakfast is well taken care off.During our stay they made sure we were ok and they handed al lot of practical information about the activities in the surrounding. There are a lot of activities nearby also suited for families with children (8 and 9)Our kids also enjoyed the garden and the close proximity of the cows.We can definitely recommend.

Perfect accommodation, whether for hiking or other activities. Parking in the courtyard, Jennerbahn and bus stop (free travel in certain areas with a guest card) opposite the accommodation. Cozy, clean rooms in Bavarian style with a balcony and beautiful mountain views. Restaurants and bakeries in the immediate vicinity. Königsee just a few minutes walk away. Very varied, rich breakfast, so to speak everything your heart desiresand when the weather is nice, outside in front of the house. Nice, warm hosts who can give lots of tips for excursions. We had a very nice holiday here and would love to come back.

A beautiful, quiet guesthouse right at the Jennerbahn valley station with great bus connections to Berchtesgaden - the Jennerbahn bus stop is directly opposite! After arriving by train, the suitcase can only be carried/rolled across the street after a very long journey. There are also enough parking spaces in front of the house for cars.The guest rooms are all on the upper floor. Accommodated in room 1 with two separate beds, living area with comfortable seating - also for eating - and balcony with a view to the southwest of the Grünstein, you feel very comfortable. Even the Watzmann can be seen a bit.The house is very clean and the breakfast is sufficient and tasty. You can even enjoy coffee outside on the terrace in the beautiful sunshine. The Springl family is very nice and takes exceptionally good care of their guests. Hiking tips are on top. I was even allowed to go into the stable and marvel at the newly born calf.A very good bakery with a café, restaurants and inns can also be reached on foot across the street in just a few steps. The Jennerbahn is of course directly opposite. It only takes a few minutes to walk to Königssee itself via the small shopping mile with plenty of restaurants. With the guest card, bus travel in the region is free, even the 45-minute trip from Berchtesgaden to Salzburg only costs 6 (now 7) euros there and back.Dear Springl family, thank you very much for the wonderful stay in your house. We would like to come again. ❤️Now back here in Stangerlehen within just 3 weeks. A wonderful holiday, thanks to the Springl family. A heartfelt thank you to Vroni for driving us to BGD again so that we could find the pension key again - in the Bräustüberl 👍🏻🍀 🥰☀️🙏🏻Been to Springels for the 4th time. Thank you for the wonderful stay.The hosts couldn't have been more welcoming.The location, the breakfast, the rooms - everything was perfect.There is a bus stop directly opposite. These buses are even free for guests.We'll definitely be back!!

We were there from May 5th. - May 10, 2024 in the Stangerlehen guesthouse.Everything was just really good and in perfect order.Very friendly, nice, attentive and helpful hosts.Several restaurants directly opposite, a pastry shop around the corner, 30 meters to the bus stop and just a few minutes walk to Königssee.Good and rich breakfast, clean rooms each with their own balcony.Highly recommended and definitely worth the trip!!

Beautiful guesthouse in Schönau, great location, parking space and charging station for electric cars available, very nice hostess who serves a first-class breakfast, you are really pampered, when the weather is nice you can have breakfast outside on the terrace, there are excursion tips every day, we have We felt very comfortable with our grandchild

We had a fantastic stay at Stangerlehen. Excellent room, delicious rich breakfast, sublime, central location (but not busy), warm hostess and nice contact with the family and other guests. Atmospheric and beautifully maintained historic farm house. Also good for small children. We look back with great pleasure on our time in Stangerlehen.

Small farm with happy cows and 4(?) guest rooms; long-established, extremely friendly landlady. Beautiful and well-kept house in a great location opposite the Jennerbahn; just a few 100 m walk to the lake (boat launch and start for a walk to Malerwinkel). Baker and 2 solid restaurants within 50 m.Clean & cozy rooms with balconies and small bathrooms. Delicious breakfast in the garden when the weather is nice. Parking available; Swings for the little ones behind the house.For me the ideal place to stay: down-to-earth, authentic and in an ideal location in perhaps the most beautiful part of our country, surrounded by spectacular nature in the surrounding area.

We had a great week. The host family is so nice and uncomplicated. As a guest you really feel completely at home. And the location can't be beat. Absolutely central as a starting point for excursions and yet very quiet. We would love to come back...

We were there around the turn of the year 21/22 and it was a great stay! We had a room with a small lounge where we could watch TV. There was also a balcony. The breakfast was very tasty and plentiful. The location is perfect for excursions and right next to the cable car station, but still quiet. The family is very nice and gave us insights into farm life and was available to answer any questions. If we come to the corner again, we'd be happy to go there again!

The guesthouse is located directly on Lake Königssee and is well connected by bus. You can start your hikes directly from here! The rooms are clean and cozy. The breakfast is delicious and sufficient. Ms. Springl is a very nice host. You immediately feel welcome! If we are ever in the area again we will definitely stay there again. Price-performance ratio is simply right!
