The rooms are shabby and uncomfortable.The shower was old and completely calcified.The carpet has had its good years behind it.We had tons of biting flies in the room all night long. Sleep was hard to think about.The breakfast was very poor.The price of 67, - / night does not justify it.However, the restaurant is highly recommended. The service was very friendly. We waited almost an hour for the food. It was very good for that.Conclusion: Eat yes - never stay overnight again

A wonderful evening at the Gasthof HöhensteigerWe had the pleasure of having dinner at Gasthof Höhensteiger and it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. As soon as we entered the inn we were warmly welcomed and immediately felt at home. The atmosphere is cozy and typically Bavarian, which gave the evening a special touch.The food was simply excellent. The menu offers a great selection of traditional Bavarian dishes as well as international delicacies. What should be particularly highlighted is the quality of the food - everything was freshly prepared and tasted delicious. The service was attentive and friendly without being intrusive.The atmosphere at the Gasthof Höhensteiger is also very inviting. The rustic furnishings and the lovingly designed beer garden invite you to linger. We really enjoyed our evening there and can highly recommend the Gasthof Höhensteiger. A big thank you to the entire team for this wonderful evening!

Price-performance is right. Rooms are clean.The mattresses are good (even for overweight people 😇). We had to wait longer for the food, but everything tasted good.We will be back.

The rooms are very old and the furniture is very worn. Beds and toilet were clean and balcony could not be used. There was an old sofa on it where the fabric was torn and birds picked material from the innards of the sofa to build nests. The surcharge was deducted when the invoice was paid! A thumbs up for that 👍 The breakfast and dinner were great and tasted good! We thought it was great that the owner managed everything as best as possible after an apparent bereavement. We wish you all the best for the future 👍

Delicious food, portion not too small and not too big. The service does its best, but the lack of staff is noticeable. A second force in service would be good. Despite everything, I would come back and enjoy the ambience of this restaurant.

Yes, yes, George. That's the dear boss there. It's nice and cooks well, only if it weren't for this monotonous menu. We were surprised that there was Surbraten or Lüngerl 2 days ago. The price was great and so was the food. However, the monotonous menu often prevents us from visiting. The prices of the dishes offered there are above average. But the waitresses are very friendly and accommodate almost every request. The inn is a dream in summer with a lake view and beer garden. It would have a large dining room and also nice corners to sit. So take a look and let it work. Greetings M & C

We had lunch at the Gasthof Höhensteiger for a funeral service. I can't share the bad reviews. Schnitzel was as it should be, everyone was very happy with the beer goulash (definitely from our own production)..no sauces were expired, the fitness salad tasted excellent! There was really nothing to complain about!!

This inn cannot be recommended. The waiting time there lasts at least 45 minutes and the food is totally inedible!!!! 🤢🤢🤮🤢🤮Always look at the expiry date of the mayonnaise or ketchup, not that the mayonnaise has expired half a year like ours!!!!!!!!!!🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤢🤢🤢🤢 🤢🤮🤮🤮🤮🤢🤢🤢🤢🤮🤮😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱

The food at this inn was a complete failure. 1 hour waiting time, mayonnaise for the fries had expired six months ago, the dumplings were in a ready-made sauce and were inedible. The one star is only there because you can't give a rating with zero stars.
